2.10 Why should we accept you for that position?: Since leaving SADOC I have had the opportunity to mature and build valuable experience. I joined DOC when I was young and fresh out of high school, with limited life experience, and I believe this held me back as a corrections officer. Since leaving I have had a successful employment with LSPD, giving me a more well-rounded view of how the criminal justice system works. I have also had some periods outside of the city, all contributing to improving me as a person. I believe now I am in the right position to be able to give my all to a career at SADOC as well as having the experience and knowledge to be able to give back to the organisation. I know I have been away from the organisation for some 6 years now, but I feel I am in the perfect position to start it all again, build on my knowledge, and become an excellent correctional officer. I know I will have limited knowledge of the current procedures, but I am more than happy to start from square 1. I believe that compared to the person I was when I joined DOC 5 years ago, I am a much stronger candidate.
2.11 Why did your employment with the San Andreas Department of Corrections end? I ended my employment with SADOC because I had unwell family out of the city and I went to take care of them, due to the nature of how long I was going to be out of the city for, I thought it was best to resign my position at SADOC.
2.12 Have you had any felony charges against you in the time that you were gone? I have not
2.13 What have you done since your resignation or termination? I have spent a large amount of time outside of the city, taking care of an ill family member. After a few years I returned to the city and joined the LSPD as a Police Officer 2. I really enjoyed this position, and I was still able to get some legal-based experience. Since leaving the LSPD I have had no fixed income and have only recently come back from 12 months outside of the city visiting friends and family in the UK.
