After the suspect was tased he tried a few times to run away from us again.
Officer Burns attempted to jump onto the suspect and pin him down to which the suspect kicked him square in the groin.

The suspect was found with the below items and his licenses which were used to identify him.
Whilst Officer Burns was detaining the suspect, Detective Olsson had returned to the Dragur and searched it, finding a Mini SMG with loaded rounds inside with his fingerprints on the weapon.

    Case Information
    • Incident Date: 20/JUL/2025
    Witness Information
    • Name: Matthew Burns
      Date of Birth: 23/APR/1996
      Phone Number: REDACTED
Occupation: Police Officer II, Los Santos Police Department
    Witness Statement
    • We responded to a 911 call from the ATM Company stating one of their ATMS had lost power at the GPS had started moving. Upon following the GPS with AIR-1 overhead, we observed a Dragur, facing east, that had crashed into a tree to the left side of Sustancia Roa,d appearing to have travelled down from the hilly area to the west. As we got closer, we observed 2 people fleeing from the vehicle running across Sustancia.

I followed the defendant on foot whilst my partner secured the vehicle and had a short chase into the industrial site to the east until he was tazed, multiple times.

The suspect was not compliant at all and required multiple tasers to become subdued and the assistance of another Officer to bring him under control. He was incredibly hostile throughout the entire interaction I had with him.

The suspect, during the attempted arrest, also decided to kick myself directly in the groin.

When returning to the vehicle with the suspect after he was finally detained, Detective Olsson had carried out some investigative work and identified him as an occupant of the vehicle, to which his statement will be able to provide the relevant details, I'm sure.
    Witness Affirmation
    • I, Matthew Burns, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))

      Signed,

  • Exhibit #3: Bodycam footage - Police Officer Matthew Burns, 20/JUL/2025
    * In the bodycam footage you'd be watching from Officer Burns viewpoint as the passenger of 3-K-30 as it responds to the 911 call.
    * You'd see Officer Burns constantly keeping updated on the GPS Location and passing the relevant details to the driver, Detective Olsson
    * Upon nearing the scene of the stationary GPS, you'll see the Draugur crashed directly into a tree with an ATM attached to it by means of a rope.
    * You'll see 2 suspects fleeing from the vehicle itself, throughout the bodycam you would not see anyone approach the vehicle or anyone else be visible from any viewpoint either near the vehicle itself or from the hills surrounding it to the west.
    * Officer Burns would leave the cruiser and immediately take off after the masked defendant who would be running through the into the industrial area.
    * You'd watch a short foot pursuit, until Officer Burns is able to tase the suspect as he climbs over a chainlink fence.
    * After standing up from the tase, the suspect would then try to run away from Officer Burns again, causing him to be tased once more.
    * This would continue 3 more times until Officer Armani arrives on scene and is able to provide assistance.
    * With additional backup, Officer Burns moves to cuff the suspect whilst Officer Armani provides cover.
    * Whilst attempting to cuff the suspect, the suspect kicks out, striking Officer Burns, causing Officer Armani to tase him again.
    * Officer Burns is able to cuff the suspect before Mirdanerizing him and searching his person, removing his mask and identifying him via his licenses.
    * Officer Burns places the still aggressive suspect into Officer Armanis cruiser and you'd then watch them all drive back to the crashed draugur.
    * Officer Burns leaves the cruiser and has a discussion with Detective Olsson where he states he was able to pull fingerprints from the vehicle proving the defendant was inside as well as finding a Mini SMG Stashed inside the vehicle.
A brief discussion regarding charges is had before Officer Burns adds the charges with his MDC and asks Officer Aramni to transport him to DOC whilst they secure the ATM and the vehicle.

  • Exhibit #4: Witness statement - Police Detective Alexander Olsson

    Official Witness Statement
"HERE FOR YOU | SAFE FOR YOU"
    Case Information
    • Incident Date: 20/JUL/2025
    Witness Information
    • Name: Alexander Olsson
      Date of Birth: 04/NOV/1998
      Phone Number: ###-####
Occupation: Police Detective III, Los Santos Police Department
    Witness Statement
    • Late night on the 20th of July, 2025 myself and Police Officer III Matthew Burns responded to the tracker of an ATM that had sent an alarm due to loss of power with the GPS showing the unit as moving.

The GPS tracker would lead us to El Rancho Boulevard where the GPS tracker would go off-road in an south-east bound direction, I drove down to try and intercept on Sustancia Road where myself and Officer Burns would find two individuals running away on foot from a Draugr which had crashed into a tree with the ATM closely attached behind, when we first saw them both individuals were roughly a few seconds away from the vehicle, running away from it across the road to El Buerro Heights.

Officer Burns chased after the suspect that would later be identified as Nathan Whildo with Deputy Chief Elizabeth Sanchez following above in AIR-1 while I chased after the secondary suspect who would later be identified as Richard Forth with Police Detective II Edward Linton taking over the chase as I turned back to secure the Draugr.

Both individuals would eventually be caught up to, detained and put under arrest while I secured and searched Draugr with the stolen ATM, while doing so two two Mini-SMG's would be located within the glove-box compartment of the vehicle, one with an extended magazine and one without any modifications.

I conducted a fingerprint analysis on both firearms, finding fingerprints on the firearms lacking modifications matching that of Nathan Whildo's with the other firearm being put under the secondary suspect Richard Forth as the Registered Owner of the vehicle.

Given that the suspect Nathan Whildo was seen fleeing the area only seconds after the Draugr with the ATM had struck into a tree alongside the secondary suspect Richard Forth, resisted arrest by continuing to flee Officer Burns on foot, even going as far as striking Officer Burns to elude arrest combined with Mr. Whildo's fingerprints being found on a firearm found inside the glovebox of the Draugr used in the crime we found it reasonable to suspect them as having taken part in the theft of the ATM.

Additionally we concluded that even if Mr. Whildo somehow wasn't in the vehicle at the time of the theft taking place they directly assisted Mr. Forth in the crime by pulling away police resources by resisting arrest and battering pursuing officers giving Mr. Forth a chance to try and get away on foot and pulling officers away from the crashed Draugr with the stolen ATM.
    Witness Affirmation
    • I, Alexander Olsson, affirm that the above statement is true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I affirm that this statement has been made voluntarily, made without promise of reward, and made not under threat, force, or coercion. ((I affirm that all information submitted has been obtained via In-Character means.))

      Signed,

      Image
      Alexander Olsson
      Police Detective III
      Los Santos Police Department

      Date: 06/AUG/2025
    Image
  • Exhibit #5: Bodycam footage - Police Detective Alexander Olsson, 20/JUL/2025
    * Attached body camera footage would show events roughly occurring as described in Alexander Olsson's witness statements.

Following the arrest of both suspects the body camera footage would show Detective Olsson securing the Black Draugr used to steal the ATM, locating two Mini-SMGs within the glove compartment of the vehicle. One would be equipped with an extended magazine and one without any modification.

The footage would show the detective going through and conducting a thorough fingerprint analysis on both firearms. While no prints would be found on the modified Mini-SMG, there would be a clear print appearing within the powder on the other, which, upon being transferred to a lifting card and scanned into the MDC, would show as an exact match to Nathan Whildo's.

MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Nathan Whildo
#25-BT-0109

A Motion for Summary Judgment was filed in the above case on the 18th of August, 2025.

The State of San Andreas, by and through the undersigned attorney, filed this Motion for Summary Judgment, and the reasoning for the request is as follows;

  • Reasoning: Explicit evidence
    • Detailed Explanation: In the discovery provided by the Prosecution, bodycam footage from Officer Matthew Burns shows the incident in its entirety. Responding to a 911 call, Officer Burns' unit arrives at the location of the tracker for the stolen ATM, discovering a crashed vehicle with two suspects fleeing on foot from it to evade law enforcement. The footage follows Officer Burns as they pursue and tase a masked suspect, who tries to run away again but is tased once more. The footage shows the suspect being arrested before kicking out at the arresting officers and hitting them, resulting in a third taser being deployed. The suspect is then processed on the scene and identified as the defendant, Nathan Whildo. A second recording from the bodycam footage of Detective Alexander Olsson shows the detective searching the suspect vehicle and uncovering two illegal firearms, performing a fingerprint analysis on both, resulting in a positive match for Nathan Whildo's prints in the MDC on one of the firearms, an unmodified Mini-SMG.

The evidence provided by the Prosecution is unequivocal. The defendant is seen leaving the vehicle towing the stolen ATM, running from law enforcement before being tased, but continuing to resist as well as attacking them. The footage also shows the investigation regarding the firearms found in the suspect vehicle, with the defendant found to have been in control of one of the illegal firearms found inside.

Superior Court of San Andreas
"EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW"

ISSUANCE OF VERDICT

IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF SAN ANDREAS

State of San Andreas v. Nathan Whildo
#25-BT-0109

A decision was reached in the above case on the 1st day of September, 2025.

The Court has reviewed the Motion for Summary Judgment submitted by the Prosecution on the 19th of August, 2025. As the Defendant has opted for Self-Representation and has not submitted any objections to the Court during the lengthy period since this time, the Court will issue its verdict based on the undisputed facts of the case.

This is a case of an ATM being stolen on the 20th of July, 2025. The ATM was being towed behind a Draugur attached with a rope. Officers arrived on the scene of the Draugur, which was being tracked by live GPS updates, to find two individuals running on foot away from the Draugur. One of the individuals was identified later as the Defendant.

The Defendant has refuted the claim that they were involved in the ATM robbery, stating that they were "curious" as to the Draugur rolling down a hill.

The Court has reviewed the body-worn camera footage in Prosecution Exhibits #3 and #5 for the undisputed facts of the case.

Given the clear evidence captured by the body-worn cameras of the LSPD Officers involved in the scene, the clear resistance displayed by the Defendant, the physical attack on the arresting Officer, and the discovery of the illegal firearm that had the Defendant's prints in the vehicle that was used to facilitate the ATM robbery, the Court believes that the Prosecution has clearly demonstrated the Defendant's involvement in the alleged offenses.

It is with the above considerations that I issue the following verdict:
  • On the count of GM02 - Battery of a Gov. Employee, I find the defendant, Nathan Whildo, guilty.
  • On the count of GM04 - Resisting Arrest, I find the defendant, Nathan Whildo, guilty.
  • On the count of GF10 - Grand Theft, I find the defendant, Nathan Whildo, guilty.
  • On the count of WF03 - Possession of a Class 2 Firearm, I find the defendant, Nathan Whildo, guilty.

The Court will be assigning $10,000 in court fees to be paid by the Defendant.
