My name is Michael Edgar Blaise. I was born in the great city of Louisville, Kentucky to law enforcement parents. As such, I have always had a passion for work in law enforcement. Years ago, I move to Los Santos in search of opportunities in a larger city. I began my journey by becoming a correctional officer at SADOC, before leaving to seek employment with the LSPD, where I remained for a total of around a year and a half, working my way to Police Officer III. After being terminated due to budget cuts, I joined the State Prosecution team as a junior prosecutor. During my time with SAJB, I assisted with training, successfully prosecuted many cases, took over and rebuilt the San Andreas Bar Association, and became Deputy Attorney General of the State of San Andreas. I have recently resigned from SAJB in hopes to return to a more hands-on law enforcement role, and I believe that the SADOC is the best place for me at this time.

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
There are several reasons that I believe I should be hired over other applicants. First and foremost, I have a long history of law enforcement in this city, having worked for SADOC prior, LSSD, LSPD, and even in an indirect position as Deputy Attorney General, which I believe has given me a deep understanding of the penal code, general practice, and common protocols. Additionally, I am extremely adaptable: That is to say that I am unlikely to make the same mistake twice.

Being on the server for 5 years playing predominantly crim, I do have several admin punishments. I have used each as a learning experience and strive to be a positive member of the community.

I believe I am technically faction banned from LSPD and LSSD due mostly to things that I have said ICly. However, these things would be a rulebreak given the new ORP rule, and as such, I have changed the way that I play my crim character accordingly. I hope to one day have these faction bans lifted, but I believe that this requires me to do well in another legal faction without receiving punishments, which I hope DOC gives me the chance to do.

  I appreciate your patience while we corresponded with your previous employer(s). Upon reviewing the application submitted to us by yourself, we regret to inform you that we have no choice but to deny your application to join the SADOC. Your application has therefore been archived. Due to the following reasons, we were unable to accept you today:
  • After receiving, reviewing and deliberating on your application in conjunction with information we have received regarding your recent employment, we have serious behavioural, representational and overall professional concerns regarding yourself. With details outlined in information we received regarding your attitude and conduct in your previous post as an employee at the San Andreas Judicial Branch, we have come to the decision to deny your application.
    
    (( In addition to the IC concerns, we also have OOC concerns, which were also outlined in the same letter from your previous faction.
    
    Concerns include OOC behaviours shown to SAJB High Command and Human Resources which included having a poor OOC attitude and mindset which was not tolerated as a member of their faction, including when passing comment on the SAJB faction, but also other factions in this server, some who the SADOC work closely with. Further incidences included disagreements which turned into abrupt and repeated resignations and reinstatements which is just something that we would not tolerate within our faction.
    
    We would like to see some consistent and positive commitment and improvement in another legal faction before considering another application from yourself, this is due to the aforementioned concerns that we have on yourself. ))
