- SECTION 3 - PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
3.1 Have you ever been employed by the LSEMS, DOC, LSPD, or LSSD? If so what rank and positions did you hold, how long ago was your employment, and who was your direct supervisor?:- I have not been employed by any of these organizations.
- I have worked consistently throughout my life since I was of legal age to do so. I began working at my Father's pizza business at a young age. While logistically the day-to-day work from a pizzeria is vastly different from that of an attorney, working at this business at a young age provided hardships and challenges that would shape my problem-solving skills and my ability to transform failure into a learning experience. Upon arriving in the city of Los Santos I applied at Los Santos Customs. Similar to this business venture, LSC was quite a different work environment to the one I was used to. Given the things I had learned from my Father's business, I was able to learn the ins and outs of mechanic work in no time. I went on to work 42 hours and achieve the title of employee-of-the-week during my first week as a mechanic. My experience in these two businesses has given me a set of skills that allow me to dissect and internalize information, and adapt to different work environments quickly.
- SECTION 4 - LONG RESPONSE
4.1 Why do you want to be employed with the Judicial Branch? (75 WORDS):- As a general motivating factor in my life, I have a strong desire to learn new information. I see this job as a good learning opportunity and as an opportunity to help others. The same reason I have a passion for assisting people in the roadside division of LSC applies to this position. A lot of the people that I come across in both positions are simply in need of help. I'm excited to see how I can contribute to the city and help people in need. It also excites me to know I will be learning under some of my respected friends in a relatively new branch in the city. This branch has been around for a while, but it's only just beginning to get some use in collaboration with LSPD, LSSD, and DOC.
- I would say that the most valuable trait that I possess is my determination. Like I have said, working for my father's business taught me a lot about turning my failures into learning experiences. As it may be quite apparent from the misdemeanors I received when I was new to the city, I am no perfect individual. When put in new situations I will make mistakes just like everyone else. One thing I know though is that your value is not determined by your past mistakes, but by how you choose to react to them. I am not someone who gives up easily and despite errors, I maintain my integrity and make sure to take those mistakes as learning experiences to better myself and everyone around me in the future. This would benefit the SAJB because the SAJB obviously requires employees to have the integrity and determination to fulfill their duties and properly service the community.
- Naturally, I would like to see the Judicial Branch play a larger role in the city. At the current standing, the relationship between the law enforcement organizations and the Judicial Branch is virtually non-existent. These organizations exist to benefit one another and I believe the cooperation between law enforcement agencies and criminal justice agencies for the collective goal of criminal justice reform will effectively revitalize the city. Crime in this city can be over rampant at times we should strive to put power and justice back into the hands of the law-abiding citizens and local communities.
- No, I have not been arrested for or convicted of any felonies.
- Yes, I have been charged with two misdemeanors. The two misdemeanors were reckless operation and receiving stolen property. Both of these happened on the same night when I was relatively new to the city. I didn't understand how the city worked at that time and made mistakes. I cooperated with the authorities and learned my lesson. Ever since my record has been clean of misdemeanors.
- I have only ever received speeding tickets. When I first came into the city I got quite a few speeding tickets, but I have drastically reduced the number of speeding tickets I get and it is an extremely rare circumstance that I receive speeding tickets now.
- I was born and raised in Liberty City. Our family owned a largely successful pizza business in Broker. From a young age, my father taught me and my brother the qualities of a good businessman. He worked hard to produce authentic Liberty-City-style pizzas, which made a name for the Tuttle family in Broker. His reputation in the community brought a lot of good attention to our family, but the most important trait that I took from my time with him was his integrity. In a city of crime, he was a man of principle that united the surrounding communities. The way my father raised me influences a lot of the aspects of how I carry myself in this city. Unfortunately, when I was at the age of 16 my father fell ill. He was a man of principle, but also a stubborn man. He refused to see a doctor, scared of the diagnosis he might get. Within the year my father had died and we held a funeral. Seeing all of the people of the surrounding communities coming together to celebrate his life instilled a sense of pride and responsibility in me. I wanted to carry on the legacy of my father. My brother and I initially took on the family business with the help of our mother. We ran it for a couple of years, but it was never the same without our father. Eventually, the bills became too expensive and we were forced to sell the business. We were in financial ruin, so my brother and I had nowhere else to turn but Los Santos. We came to this city with the dream of starting a new life and carrying on our father's legacy. Even if our father's legacy can't be carried on through Pizza, I want to carry myself as he did, with integrity and excitement to serve his community. I should be selected for this position because I will bring the same care for detail and determination that I have learned in all of my other business ventures. I want to be a positive influence on the city around me.
