Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision Kills One and Injures Another
LOS SANTOS, SA —
Los Santos: The Los Santos Police Department’s (LSPD) Traffic Enforcement Division are investigating a traffic collision that left one pedestrian dead and another in critical condition.
On April 18, 2026, around 10:50 p.m., a 45-year-old man was walking westbound on San Andreas Avenue within a clearly marked crosswalk where San Andreas Avenue and Alta Street intersect, when they were hit by the vehicle. A 27 year old woman was also walking in a eastbound direction when they were also hit. The victims were struck by a white sports car, occupied once, who failed to stop, identify themselves, and render any aid to the victims as required by law. The man is believed to have died almost instantly upon being hit.
The identity of the deceased victim is currently being withheld, until such time as their next of kin can be notified in person by Patrol Officers. The identity of the injured female is Rose Walker, a resident of Downtown Los Santos and a mother of two. She is currently in the Mount Zonah Intensive Care Unit, fighting for her life.
We're asking for members of the public to come forward and provide information if they witnessed the incident. Any information that leads to the offender's identification, apprehension and subsequent conviction will come with a monetary reward.

Motorists are reminded that if they find themselves involved in a collision, as soon as it is safe to do so, they should pull over and notify emergency services of the situation. In addition, they should remain at the scene to identify themselves and provide their statement of events.Marcus Hale, freelance journalist wrote: Hit-and-runs like this shake the whole city. It’s not just about traffic laws, it’s about basic human responsibility. Cases like this tend to reveal how fragile that responsibility really is.
