Los Santos: Following the release of the “Lewis Langley: Exposed” video recently published on the LifeInvader social media platform by the Cobb Blog, the Los Santos Police Department wishes to issue a formal statement in response to the allegations and claims contained within that video, specially the inclusion of the Los Santos Police Department in the video.

The Los Santos Police Department is a sworn law enforcement organization with a duty to protect and serve the citizens of Los Santos, uphold the laws of the State of San Andreas, operate within established departmental policies, and defend the Constitution of San Andreas. At all times, the department functions under a clearly defined chain of command. We remain proud to be staffed by such skilled, experienced, and principled law enforcement professionals capable of navigating these complex and sensitive legal matters.

We wish to reassure the public that any actions undertaken by employees of the Los Santos Police Department during Lewis Langley’s tenure as Governor were conducted within the lawful scope of their duties as police officers. While it is of of course possible, that an individual employee has engaged in or supported alleged criminal activity, whether directly or indirectly, such actions would have occurred without the knowledge, approval, or authorization of the department. The Los Santos Police Department categorically denies any involvement in, or support of, criminal conspiracies, acts of intimidation, corruption, or violence for personal or political gain.

Any employee found to have knowingly violated the law, departmental policy, or public trust will be immediately terminated and prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Los Santos Police Department does not shield any individual from accountability, regardless of rank, title, or former position. Should credible and substantiated evidence emerge supporting these allegations, it will be investigated thoroughly and, where appropriate, pursued through our justice system without bias, favouritism, or consideration of past affiliations.

While Lewis Langley has previously held high-ranking positions of authority both within the State of San Andreas as Governor and within the Los Santos Police Department as a former command officer, the department wishes to make it clear that it maintains no special relationship, allegiance, or obligation, whether formal or informal, to any individual outside of lawful duty.

Mr. Langley, like any other civilian, is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless proven otherwise through the correct channels, not in the court of public opinion or on social media. I'd like to reiterate that his former status or prior services does not in any way exempt him or any individual for that matter, from scrutiny, investigation and ultimately accountability under the law.

The Los Santos Police Department acknowledges that the video was produced and released by Solomon Cobb, a private individual acting independently and outside of any official authority. While members of the public are more than entitled to share information and opinions, such material does not constitute actual verified evidence and should not be treated as a substitute for due legal process or formal investigation.

We remain committed to transparency, upholding our integrity and obeying the rule of law. Our priority is, was and always will be, the safety of the public and maintaining the trust of the communities that we serve.
