Letter From the Governor

Emily Whitehorse wrote:As we turn the page from September to October, we are further entering the fall season with the crisp air and changing leaves reminding us that with every transition comes an opportunity for growth. This month was quiet, with many families seeing a return to school or other commitments that come with the end of summer.

Despite the more subdued nature of September, that doesn't mean it was completely void of events. Internal to the State Government, our wonderful PR team ran an End of Summer event near Grapeseed, where members of the community got together, enjoyed the bonfire, and said goodbye to the amazing summer we had. I personally saw a number of old friends come together and reconnect over the fresh barbecue on offer. I want to thank our Public Relations team for putting the event together to wrap up the summer.

In less fortunate news, recently, the State Government saw a terrorist attack take place at City Hall, with an initial car bombing that led to an extensive assault by militiamen. In spite of this attack, we are not aware of any civilian casualties, and the damage done was superficial. The State Government, in coordination with our Law Enforcement partners, will pursue accountability with the full weight of the law, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting our institutions, our public servants, and the values we all share.

Despite this setback, it's important that we look forward to the month of October, where a number of events are expected to take place as Halloween approaches. While I wish I could share details of the events planned, you will just have to wait a bit longer! However, to keep the most up to date, be sure to follow both our Lifeinvader page as well as the pages of the other government departments, or keep up to date with Weazel News!

I want to once again take this opportunity to thank all members of the State Government staff team, and the commitment of each individual has to bettering our organisation. Equally, in the aftermath of recent events, I thank all our public service employees from Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Medical agencies for everything you do to protect our state, and may god bless San Andreas.
Powering Progress: Johnnie Ravenhill & DOC Groundskeeping Lead the Way

Palmer Taylor Reborn: Teamwork, Upgrades, and a Stronger Future

Johnnie Ravenhill, working hand-in-hand with the talented Department of Corrections groundskeeping team, has been leading the charge in repairing and upgrading Palmer Taylor’s facilities to not only bring them back online, but to set them up for a stronger and more innovative future.

This collaboration has been nothing short of inspiring teams operating forklifts and bulldozers in sync, moving equipment, clearing debris, and building with purpose. What could have taken months longer was made possible through the dedication, skill, and teamwork of DOC’s crew, whose expertise kept everything on track and moving forward.

Their commitment has not only restored the site but elevated it, laying the groundwork for continued evolution and success.

A big shoutout to the DOC groundskeeping team for their hard work and partnership we’re proud to see our relationship growing stronger and paving the way for what’s ahead.
Johnnie Ravenhill Lead Agent/PWB Supervisor wrote:This marks the second time I’ve had to work on the power plant, and once again, the DOC’s Groundskeeping team stepped up with outstanding support. A big thanks goes to SASG for taking the initiative after the Palmer-Taylor damage three years ago and putting safeguards in place in case history repeated itself.

I want to emphasise that this was no small task it would have been impossible to complete without the help of Governor Whitehorse, the available GSB agents, and the DOC Groundskeeping team. What could have taken weeks was accomplished through their combined dedication and teamwork, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who answered the call.

Looking ahead, I trust that these new tanks will serve Los Santos for many years to come, ensuring reliable energy for our people well into the future.
Bradley Coot Assistant Warden wrote:I believe the work went really well overall, and it was a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team. Everything was well organised, and I was fortunate to play a part in supporting the effort. We were lucky to have a couple of members who are incredibly skilled with the forklift, and with my own experience with the wrench, everything came together seamlessly.

Law Review Committee Elections: Results Are In!

Law Review Committee On-the-Spot Voting

Recently, we conducted on-the-spot voting for the election of new members to the Law Review Committee. Two convenient voting spots were set up: one at City Hall and the other in Paleto at Bayview. We’d like to extend our gratitude to Bayview and Evan for generously allowing us to use their parking lot to collect votes, saving many from making the journey down to City Hall. This method of voting was well-received by the public, and the turnout was truly impressive. We thank everyone who came out to exercise their right to vote. We hope you enjoyed the stickers!

Congratulations to our winners:
  • Celeste Bulfinch - 26 Votes
  • Colt Daniels - 21 Votes
  • Albert Bathsheba - 21 Votes
  • Tim Sutton - 18 Votes
We look forward to seeing the great work you will all contribute as part of the Law Review Committee!

The Many Ways GSB Contributes to San Andreas

GSB: Protecting and Contributing to Our State

When most people think of GSB, they picture a group focused solely on protection standing shoulder to shoulder at city hall or with medics, safeguarding lives in critical moments.

And while that commitment is at the heart of what they do, it’s far from the full story.

What many don’t see is the work GSB does when they’re not in the middle of a crisis. Beyond City Hall, their role stretches into the fabric of the community itself. When they aren’t protecting, they contribute in other ways: from teaming up to clean graffiti off walls to keeping public spaces welcoming and safe, their presence makes a difference that you might not even notice at first glance.

This dedication isn’t about recognition, it’s about responsibility. GSB understands that serving the city isn’t just about stepping in when danger strikes, but also about creating an environment where everyone feels proud to live and work. Their teamwork, whether in the heat of a mission or with a microfibre cloth in hand, is a reminder that true service is consistent, quiet, and lasting.

Cleaning up graffiti may not make the headlines, but it’s just one of the many unseen contributions GSB makes to San Andreas every day. Their actions prove that building a better city takes more than protection; it takes care, community spirit, and a willingness to do the work no one else notices.

End of Summer Party

End of Summer Event Recap

The End of Summer event was our way of saying goodbye to a vibrant season and welcoming the change that comes with the autumn equinox. The equinox, which falls on the 22nd, marks the official end of summer, when day and night are nearly equal in length, about 12 hours each, though not perfectly balanced.

To honour this transition, we chose to host the celebration in a spot that often gets overlooked: Grapeseed, right on the beach just south of the airfield along the edge of the Alamo Sea. Our goal was to break away from the usual city-centred venues and give love to areas that deserve more recognition.

The event itself was kept simple a bonfire, great music from DJ Sammy, a classic BBQ, and a two-car raffle that brought plenty of excitement. This event marks the close of the summer events. Highlights include Weazel’s Last Person Standing and even our very own job fair, showcasing just how diverse and lively the summer had been.

Raffle Winners:
• Elegy – Pablo Marian
• Firebolt ASP – Liam Binnie

The vibes were warm and welcoming, perfectly suited to closing out the season. We’re grateful to everyone who came out and look forward to bringing you more seasonal events that match the spirit of the year.

And no, we haven’t yet had the request from Warden Lafluer about her Christmas tree, but with the holidays just around the corner, the countdown has already begun!

🌟 Spotlight Feature: Weazel News Takes Center Stage! 🌟

Weazel News Events: Last One Standing

This month, we’re excited to launch a new feature spotlighting government-funded companies that continue to shape and enrich our state. Building on last month’s Bayview highlight, we now turn the focus to one of the most dynamic and creative organisations in the field Weazel News

Known not only for their advertising and GPS marking blips but also for their signature posters and unmatched event planning, Weazel has proven time and again why they are a community favourite. Their most recent spectacle, *Last One Standing*, showcased their talent for delivering experiences that blend fresh, never-before-seen ideas with innovative twists on familiar favourites all wrapped in a decorative touch that only Weazel can provide.

It was green vs. purple in the ultimate cosmic smackdown! 🛸✨ The Green Aliens faced off against the Purple Aliens in a chaotic free-for-all where, as the title suggests, the last person standing would be crowned champion. Roughly 70 people turned up and were split evenly into two teams, Green and Purple. Each player was given a foam bat, with the goal of knocking down as many opponents as possible. The winning team would then progress onto the next round.

All players were highly engaged, even setting up their own radio frequencies for team communication. The event began with a tense standoff, as both sides strategised and carefully waited to strike. Few eliminations occurred early on, but as time passed, the arena exploded with action. Blow by blow, cheers echoed from the crowd as combat escalated until the Green Team emerged victorious.

Once the team round ended, the Greens were put back into the arena for a true test: every fighter for themselves.
🏆 After a lengthy final battle, Ty Knight stood tall as the last one standing, taking home an incredible $500,000 prize! 🏆

The viewing area was packed with fans, the atmosphere electric as the crowd cheered on every move. We managed to catch up with Marco Davis, CEO of Weazel News, who shared a few words about the event (quote below). But we’d also like to give a massive shoutout to Emily Corelle, whose creative direction and attention to detail have elevated these events time and again from this cosmic showdown to last year’s unforgettable Halloween event. The posters and content she creates stand among the best we’ve ever seen in the city, and we in the Public Relations team take real inspiration from her work.

Weazel CEO Marco Davis wrote:I am extremely proud of our Last One Standing event that took place on Sunday. The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, and those who spectated were equally as positive about their experience. While there were some areas for improvement, we believe this was one of our best events yet and showcases how we are always looking to push the boundaries and make each event better than the last. We will definitely look to host similar events in the future, utilising as many resources as we can, while making refinements from what we learned on Sunday.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire Weazel team for welcoming us, providing insights, and of course, delivering yet another unforgettable experience. And finally, thank you to everyone who showed up and made the event so special. We can’t wait to see you all at the next one!

Director Ren Sanchez wrote:Emma has become a very vital member of BPB. Since her first day, she’s been eager to learn and a joy to work with. She is friendly to everyone who walks through the doors at City Hall and always does her best to answer any and every question thrown her way. In the last month, Emma has stepped up and taken on a bulk of the training of new interns who have entered BPB. Due to her dedication, we have been able to bring on 3 fully trained members in September. In BPB, we cannot stress enough how much we love her presence! Congrats Emma!

      End Of September

💗 Moving into October and what's next 💗

As we close out September and step into October, we proudly enter Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month is dedicated to raising awareness, honouring survivors, and supporting those currently fighting. We encourage everyone to show their support by wearing pink, whether you’re on duty at work or in your personal life, every bit of pink makes a difference. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, with 1 in 8 women expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime. Early detection through screenings and self-exams can greatly improve survival rates. Let’s come together, stand strong, and spread awareness because every show of support counts. 💗
