[PRESS RELEASE #98] SASG Wraps Up Two Major Community Events,
Showcasing a New Era in Public Engagement

August 7th, 2025

  • Over the past couple of weeks, the San Andreas State Government Public Relations team has hit the ground running, hosting a series of back-to-back public events that marked a bold and exciting debut for our newly revitalised team. These weren’t just one-off gatherings, they were the beginning of something much bigger.

Our goal is simple: connect with the people of San Andreas in real and meaningful ways. We wanted to create spaces where people could not only hear from their government, but be heard by it.

These first events gave just a small glimpse of what we’re building a more open, accessible, and responsive government that meets people where they are. We’re laying the groundwork for a stronger connection between state leadership and the everyday lives of our residents.

    And we’re just getting started.

There’s so much more on the horizon: more events, more engagement, more opportunities for every San Andreas resident to get involved, speak up, and help shape the future of our state. The energy we’ve seen so far has been inspiring, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going.

We’ve got a lot coming your way, and we can’t wait to see you out there.

Event One: Summer Fest at the Pier

Led by the incredibly talented Emma Onizuka, Summer Fest at the Pier was a celebration of unity, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of San Andreas. Departments from across the state came together with unique booths and activities that brought our community closer.

    Highlights included:
    • Four dynamic DJs keeping the energy alive all day
    • Jet ski rides and helicopter tours courtesy of LSEMS
    • On-the-spot BLS signups to encourage public safety
    • Parachute lessons with the Los Santos Sheriff's Department
    • Interactive Game Show hosted by Weazel News
    • Custom t-shirt giveaways from Bayview
    • Recruitment booth by the Department of Corrections
    • Delicious food all day long from LSMC
Special thanks to the Judicial Branch for donating a vehicle for our raffle, and to HeavyFlow Dealership for offering a generous discount on a second prize vehicle.

This event wasn’t just a festival, it was a statement: we’re here, we’re active, and we’re ready to connect.

Event Two: San Andreas State Job Fair

Just one week later, we raised the bar again with a Job Fair, aimed at showcasing the incredible career opportunities in public service. Our departments came together to promote what we love most, serving San Andreas.

    Interactive attractions included:
    • Forklift Time Trial Challenge – unique, fast-paced fun
    • GSB Firing Range – offering hands-on experience and insights into firearm safety
    • SAAA-exclusive Airshow at 20:30 PM – never-before-seen aerial skill and precision
These events were more than entertainment; they were a declaration of intent. Our Public Relations team wants to build stronger bridges with the public. Whether you're a lifelong resident or new to San Andreas, we want you to feel seen, heard, and included in the future we're building.

Our long-term mission is to reach a wider audience through consistent community outreach, transparent messaging, and unforgettable experiences. We’re working to break down barriers between citizens and public institutions by hosting events that are welcoming, informative, and fun.

We believe these events no matter how big or small, can become platforms for connection. Whether it’s someone discovering a new career path, a family spending a joyful afternoon together, or a resident meeting a first responder face-to-face, every moment counts.

    Looking Ahead

These events are only the beginning. Our Public Relations team is committed to delivering more immersive, engaging, and community-first events in the future. We believe in transparency, innovation, and bringing the government to the people.

We’re always looking to collaborate with departments, local businesses, and community leaders. If you have an idea let’s make it happen together.

A heartfelt thank you to every attendee, partner, and volunteer who made these events possible. And a special thank you to Weazel News for their tireless support in getting the word out across the state.

Stay Safe, Stay Inspired, and God Bless San Andreas.
