Los Santos: On July 2nd, the Los Santos Police Department marked a day of significance as it welcomed and celebrated an addition to its Command Staff.
Dale Ashcroft has promoted to the rank of Captain, assigned as the Assistant Commanding Officer, Major Crimes Division. This position and assignment of Captain Ashcroft have been crucial to the general detective operations of the Los Santos Police Department, as it assumes the responsibility for ensuring the general detectives division, which oversees the investigations into the broadest spectrum of crime, operates smoothly and efficiently.
Alongside Captain Jonathan Willowick, recently advanced to Captain II, Captain Ashcroft has pushed diligently for an improvement across the board within the Major Crimes Division, which turned fruitful, with an increase of morale and activity across the board, which is a testament to dedication and effort the Captains leading the division into the future.
Ashcroft started his career in law enforcement in 2020 as a Police Officer assigned to general patrol operations. In 2021, he specialized and was assigned to the Vinewood Traffic Division as a Traffic Officer, where he remained until 2022, when Ashcroft determined the next step in his career trajectory, seeing his reassigment to the Major Crimes Division as a Detective Trainee. Captain Ashcroft spent the next years of his career here, eventually being appointed as the Detective-in-Charge of the now-abolished Vice Unit. He was then reassigned as the Assistant Commanding Officer, Major Crimes Division, a position he holds today.
While he's not working, Ashcroft enjoys hunting, particularly in the Blaine County area, where he is also a local business owner. He is a man with a strong sense of community and has aspirations to build upon that.
