Assistant Chief Dezzy Bala wrote: We believe that every citizen should have access to some form of transportation within the City of Los Santos. Whether that’s an expensive sports vehicle, a rugged work van, or a motorcycle for recreational use, the freedom to travel is a fundamental part of life in our city. However, we recognize that not everyone can afford their own vehicle, and even for those who can, limited parking and heavy traffic can make driving impractical at times.
This is where Los Santos Transit’s Park and Ride routes come into play. The goal is to provide an instantly accessible, effortlessly convenient, and affordable way to move around our great city. These routes aim to connect Los Santos with Blaine County and Paleto Bay, bringing our diverse communities closer together while reducing congestion and pollution.
When Gwen Belding approached us with their vision for an expanded public transportation network, it was an easy decision to lend our support. More people on buses means fewer cars on the road, reduced traffic, and hopefully, fewer accidents. However, we also understand that with this increased accessibility comes a responsibility to ensure the safety of all passengers.
We’re fully aware of the criminal elements that can sometimes exploit public transportation, and we are committed to both passively protecting citizens and actively targeting those who might use these routes for illicit purposes. Our Detective Bureau will be deploying undercover units along key routes, working closely with the Los Santos Transit team to identify and disrupt any criminal activity before it takes hold. Our mission is simple, to keep our residents safe and ensure that public transit remains a secure and practical choice for all.

Gwen Belding, Chief Operating Officer of Los Santos Transit wrote: At Los Santos Transit, we believe that public transportation should be more than just a way to get from point A to point B. It should be an integral part of the community, connecting people, supporting businesses, and reducing the impact of congestion and pollution on our city. The recent merger with Blaine County Bus Company and Josephs Coaches represents a bold step toward that vision, unifying our transit networks and creating a seamless transportation experience across the entire state of San Andreas. Our goal is to make public transit the smart, stylish, and sustainable choice for every resident, whether they’re commuting to work, exploring the scenic highways of Blaine County, or just getting around town.
Part of this effort involves our Park and Ride routes, which are designed to be instantly accessible, effortlessly convenient, and affordable for all. We recognize that not everyone can afford their own vehicle, and even those who do often face challenges like traffic congestion and limited parking. Our expanded routes aim to address these issues, connecting neighborhoods across Los Santos, Blaine County, and Paleto Bay, while reducing the number of cars on the road and easing the strain on our infrastructure. These routes are not just about moving people, but about bringing communities closer together and reducing our collective carbon footprint.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the support and collaboration of the Los Santos Police Department. We deeply appreciate the proactive approach the LSPD has taken under it's current leadership, committing to the safety of our drivers and passengers alike. The LSPD’s plan to deploy both uniformed and undercover officers along our routes is a critical component in ensuring a safe and secure transit system. Together, we aim to make public transit a practical, safe, and respected choice for everyone in our community, helping to create a brighter, more connected future for the entire state.
