Los Santos: At the end of March 2025, spearheaded by Police Officer III+1 Dean Molloy, the Los Santos Police Department's Detective Bureau, assisted by a tactical element deployed by the Metropolitan Division's D Platoon, executed a search warrant on multiple motel rooms, resulting in a high-impact raid that dealt a crippling blow to the illegal arms trade of West Los Santos.
Officer Molloy, a recently inducted and enrolled detective trainee, conducted an extensive investigation, which included undercover work, which produced sufficient information, allowing investigators to obtain a search warrant for the properties.
Once the search warrant was executed, it revealed a massive amount of illegal items, including but not limited to assault rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, and smaller arms such as pistols, among thousands of ammunition rounds. Beyond the significant number of armaments, investigators also discovered kilos of narcotics stashed away within the properties.
Investigators of the Gang and Narcotics Division have reviewed the street value of the seizures, which has been estimated to be upwards of $4.9 million, which marks a significant financial blow to the criminal operation in West Los Santos.
The operation and efforts of Officer Molloy have allowed the Los Santos Police Department to remove and eliminate a large quantity of dangerous weapons, contraband, and narcotics from the streets, while also disrupting the supply chain that supports organized crime and threatens our community safety.

The results produced by Officer Molloy's efforts and subsequent search warrant mark not only a phenomenal achievement for a newly appointed trainee within the investigative arm of the Department, but also for the Department as a whole, the City of Los Santos, and its war on crime.
