Los Santos: On the early morning of August 22nd, 2024, detectives of the Gang and Narcotics Division and supporting officers successfully located fugitive from justice Sophia Falcone in the area of Eclipse Towers.
Detectives were aware from investigative work that Falcone had changed her appearance several times since escaping from the Department of Corrections. Initially leaving the prison walls with black hair, she was spotted with white hair, and in her final days of freedom, she donned short red hair.
Detectives coordinated between air units, ground units, and plain clothes units, in order to rule out any possible buildings until it was determined that the suspect was inside Eclipse Towers. At that point, the fugitive who had toyed with law enforcement became unknowingly trapped by law enforcement.
Detectives and supporting officers spent more than three hours surveilling the area and attempting to locate the specific apartment she was in, with no success. However, early into the fourth hour of the operation, a woman matching the description of Sophia Falcone was spotted leaving the elevator.
Plainclothes detectives approached her as she was walking towards a Comet Retro Custom driven by her brother, Marcus Falcone, who, upon recognizing the impending arrest, jumped out with a shotgun and fired at officers.
Marcus Falcone was shortly neutralized by the plain-clothed detectives, and Ms. Falcone surrendered at gunpoint after seeing her incapacitated brother. She was transported with a secure convoy to Mission Row Station where she was remanded back into the custody of the Department of Corrections.
Falcone was a fugitive from justice for a short four days, a time in which she is believed to have killed at least one individual, stolen several vehicles, and even used a City Bee to avoid law enforcement attention. However, in the end, investigators and officers of the Los Santos Police Department's gang unit were able to effect the arrest.

Apprehension of Fugitive Sophia Falcone
