Los Santos: After each month, supervisory personnel of the Los Santos Police Department conduct a thorough review of officer statistics within their divisions and nominate those who have shown significant dedication to the Department based on statistics such as duty hours, individual performances within divisions, administrative efforts, and above all, their embodiment of the values that the Department holds dear.
The title of "Officer of the Month" is distinguished and is awarded to officers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, outstanding performance, and unrivaled professionalism in the line of duty, and who through their steadfast commitment to the communities and the pursuit of justice, embody the very essence of the core values of the Department, where excellence is not just another word, but the backbone on which our law enforcement philosophy is built.
This month, it is with great honor that we shine a light on, commend, and salute Police Officer II Cal Pierce for his efforts, dedication, and achievements. Officer Pierce has been voted Officer of the Month for July 2024.
Officer Pierce was nominated by Lieutenant I Joseph Sanchez, who serves as his commanding officer within the Rockford Hills Patrol Division. In the nomination for Officer Pierce, Lieutenant Sanchez had the following to say.
Officer Pierce is a relative newcomer to law enforcement within the City of Los Santos, having graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on the 11th of May, 2024. Within three months of the beginning of his career as a Los Santos Police Officer, Officer Pierce managed to make a lasting impression on his direct supervisors and other personnel within the Department, achieving a feat such as having the Officer of the Month award bestowed upon him in such a short period.
On the 9th of June, Officer Pierce graduated from the field training program, designed to train and prepare rookie officers for the challenges of law enforcement within the City of Los Santos, and was promoted to Police Officer I. Then, on July 15th, Officer Pierce was advanced to Police Officer II. He is currently assigned to the Rockford Hills Patrol Division as a patrol officer.
The Department finds it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of our officers amidst the daily challenges and responsibilities.

Lieutenant I Joseph Sanchez, Commanding Officer, Rockford Hills Patrol Division wrote: Officer Cal Pierce has 107.93 hours and 154 paperwork submissions for the month of July so far. He has shown exceptional performance with respect to his duties as a patrol officer and has also been participating in several operations within the Detective Bureau, proving himself to be a great asset. In the field, he carries himself with a great attitude and is very hard-working.
