Los Santos: After each month, supervisory personnel of the Los Santos Police Department conduct a thorough review of officer statistics within their divisions and nominate those who have shown significant dedication to the Department based on statistics such as duty hours, individual performances within divisions, administrative efforts, and above all, their embodiment of the values that the Department holds dear.
The title of "Officer of the Month" is distinguished and is awarded to officers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, outstanding performance, and unrivaled professionalism in the line of duty, and who through their steadfast commitment to the communities and the pursuit of justice, embody the very essence of the core values of the Department, where excellence is not just another word, but the backbone on which our law enforcement philosophy is built.
This month, it is with great honor that we shine a light on, commend, and salute Detective I Zero Hunter for his efforts, dedication, and achievements. Detective Hunter has been voted Officer of the Month for June 2024.
Detective Hunter was nominated by Lieutenant II Johnathan Willowick, who serves as his commanding officer within the Major Crimes Division. In the nomination for Detective Hunter, Lieutenant Willowick had the following to say.
Detective Hunter, contrary to the length of his employment with the Department, is a law enforcement veteran, previously having served a long and prosperous career with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. On the 24th of April 2024, Detective Hunter transferred to the Los Santos Police Department and has served in the capacity of a Vice Detective for the Major Crimes Division since.
The Department finds it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of our officers amidst the daily challenges and responsibilities.

Lieutenant II Johnathan Willowick, Commanding Officer, Major Crimes Division wrote: Detective Hunter has come back from his absence and really stepped up his performance, putting in 106 hours on shift while putting in 57 contributions to the internal databases, 25 being within the Detective Bureau. He continues to put in great effort on the field and has been a great asset in the Detective Bureau.
