Los Santos: The Los Santos Police Department is pleased to announce the safe resolution of a high-stakes hostage situation at the San Andreas Department of Corrections (SADOC) on the night of the 31st January. Thanks to the expert work of LSPD officers and the highly trained LSPD Metropolitan Division SWAT team, no civilians or officers were harmed during the incident.
The situation began when an LSPD officer was taken hostage at gunpoint inside the SADOC facility. A Code-1 emergency was immediately declared, prompting a rapid response from LSPD SWAT. The specialized unit worked quickly to establish communication with the armed suspects and attempted to deescalate the situation through negotiation tactics.
The suspects remained uncooperative throughout most of the ordeal. After an extensive period of negotiation, the officer was safely released, thanks to the efforts of the negotiator. The suspects at this time attempted to evade arrest by law enforcement, but a swift and coordinated pursuit by LSPD units led to their rapid apprehension.


The Los Santos Police Department commends the bravery and professionalism displayed by the responding officers and the SWAT team. Their quick thinking, precise execution, and dedication to public safety ensured a peaceful resolution to a potentially deadly situation.
