Los Santos: After each month, supervisory personnel of the Los Santos Police Department conduct a thorough review of officer statistics within their divisions and nominate those who have shown significant dedication to the Department based on statistics such as duty hours, individual performances within divisions, administrative efforts, and above all, their embodiment of the values that the Department holds dear.
The title of "Officer of the Month" is distinguished and is awarded to officers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, outstanding performance, and unrivaled professionalism in the line of duty, and who through their steadfast commitment to the communities and the pursuit of justice, embody the very essence of the core values of the Department, where excellence is not just another word, but the backbone on which our law enforcement philosophy is built.
This month, it is with great honor that we shine a light on, commend, and salute Police Officer II Jamie Lockwood for her efforts, dedication, and achievements. Officer Lockwood has been voted Officer of the Month for August 2024.

Officer Lockwood was nominated by Sergeant II Abel Montgomery, who serves as her patrol supervisor within the Mission Row Patrol Division. Sergeant Montgomery had the following to say in the nomination for Officer Lockwood.
Officer Lockwood is an up-and-coming, notable officer, who is relatively new to the force in the City of Los Santos, as a graduate of the Los Santos Police Academy hosted on the 27th of April, 2024.
On the 21st of May, Officer Lockwood graduated from the training program, designed to train and prepare rookie officers for the challenging landscape that is working law enforcement in the City of Los Santos, which saw her promoted to Police Officer I. On the 18th of July, Officer Lockwood was promoted to Police Officer II. She is currently assigned to the Mission Row Patrol Division as a field training officer and has also explored other opportunities within the Department, such as the Air Support Division, Traffic Enforcement Division, and Firearms Licensing Division.
Officer Lockwood is a rising star in the Department due to her efforts as a training officer, her duties in an administrative capacity, and her general approach and demeanor when carrying out her duties as a Los Santos Police Officer.
The Department finds it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of our officers amidst the daily challenges and responsibilities.

Sergeant II Abel Montgomery, Patrol Supervisor, Mission Row Patrol Division wrote: Throughout the Month, Officer Lockwood has maintained highly competitive hours, averaging 26.07 for the last four weeks, alongside an impressive amount of paperwork contributions. As it currently stands, Officer Lockwood has the third most paperwork contributions in the Department, totaling 171. In addition, Officer Lockwood has the most Field Training Division contributions for the Month of August among Mission Row Patrol Division Officers.
