Media Relations - Fallen Officer Kevin Porter

Police Officer II Kevin Porter, from Vinewood Precinct, was pronounced dead after succumbing from injuries caused by a fall from the Los Santos Police Department's Mission Row Roof. Medical Personnel from the Los Santos Emergency Services had quickly arrived at the scene shortly after the incident but despite their attempts to resuscitate Officer Porter, his life wasn't able to be saved. It is currently unclear on what caused Officer Porter to fall from Mission Row's Roof, however, an Internal Investigation led by Captain Lewis Langley is underway and we hope that the investigation will unveil the cause of the fall and whether any foul play was involved.

Officer Kevin Porter was a veteran of the Los Santos Police Department and his employment with the Los Santos Police Department started in April, 2017. He worked in the early stages of the department's previous structure and he assisted Chief Gus Ketse with developing the department's old structure. Officer Porter had recently graduated from the Junior Pilot Program of the Air Support Division, and he was known as a reliable and utmost professional pilot. Officer Porter always approached challenges positively and had a major impact on officers by spreading positivity and good work ethic, he will be remembered as an honorable Law Enforcement Officer whose service and commitment to the public and the department will not be forgotten.

A service will be held in his honor on this Saturday, 20th of October at 18:00 ((UTC,/time)) to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Officer Porter. The service will be held at the Vinewood cemetery, friends, family and co-workers are invited to attend.
