Letter From the Governor

Emily Whitehorse wrote: Welcome officially to Summer, San Andreas! Gone are the days of intermittent showers and mild temperatures; the weather for the next three months will be hot and sunny. Summer is already kicking off to be exciting, with multiple events across the state, including a pool party hosted at a large city mansion with multiple gifts on offer. This month also included two very important months of recognition: Pride Month and Menâs Mental Health Awareness Month.
This month in Pride was quieter than last year, but that did not stop many of our citizens from still representing Pride in several unique ways. I saw plenty of people wearing Pride colors, as well as hearing stories from members of our community on what Pride means for them. I wish all members of the LGBTQ+ community all the best, as our state, like others, recognizes that love comes in all forms and are equality valid.
Menâs Mental Health Awareness Month also occurred. I got to engage in a heartfelt conversation with a member of the community about the importance of adequate mental health support and recognizing that male mental health is just as important and sometimes overlooked. I encourage anyone experiencing any mental health concerns to contact qualified professionals or even a close friend for support.
Looking forward to July, the first pool of pardon applicants for 2026 will begin being reviewed, and we already have two amazing events taking place. Remember that our community thrives when we come together, so be sure to visit all the events this summer to continue building communal connections. P.S. Remember to pack sunscreen for these events!
Bayview Auto Centre
Bayview Auto Centre

In the quieter surroundings of Paleto, far from the constant noise and pressure of the city, Bayview Auto Center has built a reputation as one of the regionâs most trusted and versatile repair facilities. Specialising in cars, motorbikes, and even helicopters, Bayview has become a one-stop destination for vehicle owners looking for quality workmanship and reliable service.
But according to the team behind the garage, itâs not just the certifications or technical expertise that make Bayview special â itâs the people.
The atmosphere at Bayview Auto Center is one of camaraderie, support, and genuine friendship. Employees speak passionately about the environment theyâve helped create, describing it as more than just a workplace.

That sense of connection is paired with a lifestyle many employees value deeply. Located in the Paleto area, Bayview offers an escape from the hectic pace of urban life, allowing staff to enjoy a more relaxed and focused work environment.
âItâs away from the hustle and bustle of the city,â explains Robert Devil, highlighting one of the major draws for those seeking a calmer and more enjoyable place to work.
For Willow Morgan, the appeal comes down to the people themselves. âItâs an amazing place to work with a group of amazing people,â they say, capturing the welcoming spirit that customers and employees alike experience every day.

As demand for their services continues to grow, Bayview is now launching a major recruitment drive, welcoming new talent into the team through walk-in interviews. The garage is actively looking for motivated individuals eager to join a supportive workplace with strong community values and exciting career opportunities.
For anyone searching for more than just a job â whether youâre an experienced mechanic or someone looking for a fresh start â Bayview Auto Center is proving that success doesnât have to come from the middle of the city. Sometimes, the best opportunities are found where people genuinely care about each other and the work they do.

đ SASG Celebrates Pride Month!đ
SASG believes everyone should be accepted for who they are, and we stand with all members of the LGBTQ community with our utmost respect and support.
Every June, Pride Month is recognised and celebrated by many in honour of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. Where for the first time, people of the LGBTQ community stood up for their rights when faced with a homophobic attack.

"This month is a powerful reminder that our strength lies in our differences. By centring the experiences of minority communities, we are working to build a more equitable environment where everyone has the support to thrive."

"To me, Pride Month is about ensuring that everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued. As someone who works closely with employees and visitors every day, I believe it's important that people feel safe, comfortable, and able to be themselves both in the workplace and throughout our city."

âAs a member of the Los Santos Sheriffâs Department, we are inclusive and non-discriminatory to anyone, we donât want to purge anything with prejudice, so we are welcoming, accepting and we are here to protect all citizens of the countyâ
We were amazed to view various sightings of pride flags around the city in honour of Pride Month!

- Stats from GLAAD
- 91% of non-LGBTQ Americans agree that LGBTQ people should have the freedom to live their lives and not be discriminated against.
- The percentage of LGBTQ Americans has risen by over 160% since 2012. (Stats sourced from GALLUP).
74% of Americans are neutral or positively impacted by knowing a company offers Pride merchandise.

Men's Mental Health Awareness Month
đBreaking The Silence.
This Menâs Mental Health Awareness Month, we at San Andreas State Government, are shining a light on the importance of menâs mental health and wellbeing. The aim is to encourage individuals to engage in open conversations and remove the stigma around men being repeatedly told to 'Man up'. EVERYONE struggles, and men deserve to get the help they need when suffering from poor mental health.

Government Security Bureau Deputy Director Raymond Whitaker shared some meaningful words regarding Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

As Men's Mental Health Month comes around, I'd like to take a moment to speak on something that doesn't get said often enough.
I've spent most of my life around law enforcement, government service, and people who carry immense responsibility on their shoulders. In those years, I've seen a hard truth repeated time and time again: the world often teaches boys that being a man means suffering without sound, and that quietly drowning is somehow braver than learning how to swim.
Too many men grow up believing they cannot speak. If a man speaks with anger, he's called vile. If he speaks with fear, he's called soft. If he sets boundaries, he's called insecure. If he speaks of sadness, he's called a coward. If he says nothing at all, he's called cold. Then, when the weight of everything he wasn't allowed to say finally crushes him, people look back and whisper, "He should have spoken up."
The reality is that strength has never been silent. Strength is carrying your burdens when you must, but having the courage to reach out before they become too heavy to bear alone. Strength is checking on your colleagues, your friends, your family, and accepting that one day you may need someone to check on you, too.
Men's Mental Health Month is an important reminder, but this is not a conversation that should only happen once a year. Looking after one another, asking difficult questions, and creating an environment where people can speak honestly without judgment should be something we do every day.
No position, age, or gender makes someone immune to struggle and the burdens of life. We are all human, and none of us was meant to carry life's challenges alone.
Please take the steps needed to look after yourselves, speak up when you need help, and be there for others who need it.

I believe Men's Mental Health Awareness Month is of great importance because, you know, the "he seemed fine" shouldn't be the last thing someone says about someone. And, because half the population is suffering quietly, it is not a tradition worth keeping. Men aren't broken or struggling; they are human, and humans deserve better than silence.
The advice I would give to a man who is struggling right now would be to tell someone! Not because it fixes everything - it won't. But because carrying it alone makes it heavier, every single day. You don't need the right words, you don't need to have it figured out, you just need to say that you are not okay, to the one person who gives a damn, that is it, that is the first step. If you can't find that one person, find a professional. Not because you are broken, but because you are worth the effort that it takes to get better. I have said this to a friend before, "You have already survived every bad day so far, so don't let that silence be the thing that finally beats you."
Stop rewarding silence. When a man opens up, the worst thing you can do is make him regret it. No jokes, no "you'll be fine" don't change the subject. When he opens up to you, you should listen. Check on the ones who seem fine - the loudest cry for help is often no cry at all, and normalise the conversation about it, not just because it's the month for it. At the dinner table, group chat, work, make it normal.

All those problems youâre racing home to fix is problems when you get there. And once you solve them, thereâs a whole new set right behind them. You've got to enjoy the moments between the problems. Otherwise, problems is all youâll have.

Men's mental health is often downplayed, it's overlooked, or it's just brushed aside. We should honestly do better. Check in on your homies, they could be fighting demons that you know nothing about! A conversation, or a quick kiss on the forehead, costs absolutely nothing. At the end of the day, look after your friends, have a chat with them, see how they are doing.

After a conversation with the Deputy Sheriff and Detective Charlie Ross of the Los Santos Sheriff's Department, he stated that
Men's Mental Health Awareness Month is very important; it is a very overlooked piece in our society nowadays, and we must look out for each other.
Important stats to consider

- Men account for approximately 79% of all suicide deaths in the United States, making it a critical public health issue.
- Societal stigma and traditional masculine norms that emphasise stoicism and self-reliance are major barriers that prevent men from seeking timely help.
