LSPD Response to Bank Robbery Results in Officer Ambush
LOS SANTOS, SA —
On the 11th of April, 2026, a group of armed assailants initiated a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank located across the street from the Pink Cage Motels, located on Hawick Avenue.
Law enforcement responded to the armed bank robbery, after which multiple suspects, armed with heavy weaponry and equipped with armored vests, came running outside, dispersing out of and from the bank. On the scene, officers initiated a pursuit of a blue Kamacho, which evaded and eventually led the pursuing units into the Mirror Park area, where, unbeknownst to them, an ambush was waiting for them.
Officers exchanged gunfire with the armed assailants, and units began to regroup, assuming advantageous positions, allowing them to regain control over the conflict slowly. With casualties amounting on both sides of the conflict, officers were able to utilize isolation tactics to incapacitate suspects one by one.
At the conclusion of the violent incident, four suspects were found to have been deceased during the firefight. Two officers were found deceased. Five suspects were arrested in relation to the bank robbery and subsequent violent and fatal ambush.
The Los Santos Police Department mourns the loss of the police officers killed in the line of duty during this incident and remembers all first responders who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Never will we forget those who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of others. The dedication these officers had to the City of Los Santos will never be forgotten. Our hearts are with the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officers.
