Los Santos: The Officer of the Month recognition highlights one member of the Los Santos Police Department each month who has consistently gone above and beyond in the line of duty. Supervisory staff evaluate officer performance department-wide not only by their time on duty, but also by their administrative efforts, quality of work, attitude, teamwork, and adherence to the core values that define the Department. Dedication, outstanding performance, unrivaled professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to protecting and serving the people of Los Santos are just some of the qualities that define these officers.

For March 2026, it is with great honor that we once again recognize Police Officer III Reggie Maximin, who has continued to demonstrate exceptional consistency, growth, and commitment across multiple divisions within the Department.

Officer Maximin first joined the Los Santos Police Department as a member of Academy Class #285 in October, 2025, and has since built a reputation as a proactive, dependable, and highly motivated officer. While earning Officer of the Month previously in December 2025, his continued efforts have proven that his performance was not a one-time achievement, but a standard he consistently maintains.

Since his last recognition, Officer Maximin has continued to expand his role within the Department, contributing significantly to Metropolitan Division SWAT operations, the Air Support Division, and Firearms Licensing. His development into a SWAT Instructor further reflects both his capability and the trust placed in him to uphold and pass on the standards expected within the unit.

His ability to balance operational duties while continuing to develop his skills and assist others has made him a valuable asset across multiple areas of the Department.

The Los Santos Police Department proudly congratulates Police Officer III Reggie Maximin on being named Officer of the Month for March 2026, and recognizes the continued impact he has across the Department.

Police Captain II Alex Sorvanis, Assistant Commanding Officer wrote: Officer Maximin has proven to be one of the most active members in the field. He consistently assists wherever he can, particularly with SWAT related operations, and demonstrates a strong willingness to support the team. He attends every training session he is able to and actively looks for opportunities to improve his skills and contribute to the unit.

In addition, Officer Maximin is always ready to assist other units when needed, showing strong teamwork and a dependable attitude during operations.Since becoming a SWAT Instructor, he has also been very attentive to his instructor duties, consistently dedicating time and effort to training others and helping maintain a high standard within the unit. Overall, he has recently been a very reliable officer and continues to grow and improve as he takes on additional responsibilities.

Element Leader David Loan, Metropolitan Division SWAT wrote:
On his role and contributions:
"Officer Maximin is the kind of officer who makes everyone around him better and have a good time by just being there. He’s the one who carries the division forward due to his consistency and professionalism with the job. On a personal note, Officer Maximin is a close friend. Since he joined the Metropolitan SWAT Division, I have been excited to have him at my side it allows me to be to push limits that I otherwise would not have pushed myself."

On what makes him stand out:
"Officer Maximin excels in everything he does within any division he’s apart of. In Firearms Licensing, he’s one our most reliable members of the division and has become a Senior Licensing Officer in the division in just a few weeks. In ASD, he has already proven himself by achieving the rank of Pilot First Class. He is someone I fully trust to take over maintaining visual of the situation and never lose a suspect. In SWAT, he became a Senior Officer shortly after becoming a SWAT instructor. But beyond the job, he always brings life to the division and team, leads by example and doesn’t need a high rank to do so. I’m grateful to have an Officer like him under my element."

On initiative and setting the standard:
“Officer Maximin took it upon himself to become a SWAT Instructor for the division. He regularly works with me, even before being an Instructor, to set organize and attend trainings for the probationary members of the SWAT team. As soon as I became a SWAT Instructor, Officer Maximin was the first ever Probationary Officer I conducted training sessions for; he is the type of officer I don’t want to ever slow down, If we ever slow him down, we’ll slow ourselves down.”

The Department finds it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of our officers amidst their daily challenges and responsibilities.

Please join us in congratulating Police Officer III Reggie Maximin on this prestigious award. We look forward to his continued success with the Los Santos Police Department.
