Wheels Up Fixed Wing Has Taken Flight

After a lot of dedicated work and more than a few long runways’ worth of effort, fixed-wing operations have officially taken off. Applications are now open for Fixed Wing Pilot positions, along with a separate light aircraft application for the Ultralight. While fixed-wing uses its own application, ultralight is individual, with pilots selecting their desired track to ensure focused training and high standards. No prior pilot’s license is required to apply for the Ultralight, making it an accessible entry point for new aviators.
The Ultralight Certification focuses solely on ultralight aircraft. This structure allows pilots to pursue the aircraft type that best fits their goals while maintaining clear and professional standards across all programs.
Pilots can expect a solid fleet ready for departure, with pricing information available below. Following recent Grapeseed runway updates, the helipad has been cleared for takeoff and removed, but pilots remain fully cleared to land and operate on the runway. This launch marks only the first leg of the journey, with plenty more altitude and opportunity ahead.
