Los Santos: After each month, supervisory personnel of the Los Santos Police Department conduct a thorough review of officer statistics within their divisions and nominate those who have shown significant dedication to the Department based on statistics such as duty hours, individual performances within divisions, administrative efforts, and above all, their embodiment of the values that the Department holds dear.
The title of "Officer of the Month" is distinguished and is awarded to officers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, outstanding performance, and unrivaled professionalism in the line of duty, and who through their steadfast commitment to the communities and the pursuit of justice, embody the very essence of the core values of the Department, where excellence is not just another word, but the backbone on which our law enforcement philosophy is built.
This month, it is with great honor that we shine a light on, commend, and salute Police Officer II Reggie Maximin for his efforts, dedication, and achievements. Officer Maximin has been voted Officer of the Month for December 2025.

Officer Maximin was nominated by Lieutenant II Jamie Lockwood, who serves as his Assistant Commanding Officer within the Mission Row Patrol Division. Lieutenant Lockwood had the following to say about Officer Maximin:
Officer Maxinin is a relatively recent, fresh addition to the Los Santos Police Department, but today, has made a significant name for himself within the Department as he has been minted as Officer of the Month within his first three months of service. Officer Maximin graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on October 5th, 2025, after which he was enrolled in the Department's field training program, designed to prepare him for the reality of police work within the City of Los Santos.
On October 31st, Maximin successfully completed the field training program and graduated from it, earning himself a full-fledged position as Police Officer I, assigned to the Mission Row Patrol Division. Here, Officer Maximin continued to develop himself and his abilities and skills as a police officer, as witnessed by his upgrade to Police Officer II on December 3rd, 2025.
Today, Officer Maximin continues to serve as a patrol officer assigned to the Mission Row Patrol Division. He has shown great interest in specializing throughout his career, with aspirations to take part in firearms licensing and air support, and has taken up the responsibility of training new officers as a training officer. Officer Maximin is currently a probationary SWAT officer, giving us insight into his potential future within the Department.
The Department finds it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of our officers amidst their daily challenges and responsibilities.

He is always willing to help and puts in significant hours, even during this winter period. Officer Maximin has very good field awareness, considering his short time in the Department, and gives his all when he is on shift.
