The San Andreas Judicial Branch announces a temporary transition within the Office of the Attorney General to ensure continued continuity in active prosecutions.
During this period, Superior Court Judge Hugh Allgood will assume interim oversight of prosecutorial matters. This transition is temporary in nature and intended to support ongoing operations while maintaining stability within the Prosecution Division. Now Interim Attorney General Allgood will work to train and aid in the transition of the next Attorney General after a period of interviews are conducted.
Due to the need for continuity in several pending cases, the following matters will proceed under a limited deviation from standard practice. For these specific cases only, Interim Attorney General Hugh Allgood will preside in a judicial capacity, and Branch Administrator Hope Kant will serve as Prosecutor:
All other cases will proceed under normal judicial and prosecutorial procedures.
