San Andreas Judicial Branch Monthly Newsletter "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW" |

Announcements
- During the month of February, the Judicial Branch released [Press Release #58] Adding an Expiration Date to Notices of Trespass. We wanted to ensure moving forward that individuals would not be forced out of locations that have otherwise changed management or have closed down. Additionally, we hoped to reward individuals that have been reformed either through the reformation program from SADOC or by maintaining their own record free of new charges. Notices of Trespass are now automatically archived after 30 days of activity unless requested by the business owner to be extended.

Employee of the Month

Employee of the Month
- For the month of February, the Judicial Branch would like to recognize Rowin Lawson as Employee of the Month.
Branch Administrator Hope Kant wrote: "Rowin Lawson has taken the Prosecution division and made it his own alongside interim Attorney General Hugh Allgood. With minimal aid, Deputy Attorney General Lawson has picked up right where he left off, working with other departments and ensuring that evidence is presented to the courts on time. He is a breath of fresh air to a Prosecution Department that has needed new eyes and active leadership, and now has everything it needs to prosper. We are so grateful to have someone as dedicated as Deputy Lawson to help lead the Prosecution division to a better future. "
Closing Message
- "The Judicial Branch has been hard at work moving along cases and progressing our new hires through training. We have looked to partnered law firms to fill a void where our public defense division may not be able to cover. We are happy to have law firms in our State that welcome the ability to serve defendants whether it be at the Department of Corrections for a paged consultation or by taking on a court case by request. We look forward to new law firms with new abilities to partner and serve defendants. "
