Los Santos, San Andreas

Los Santos: It is with a profound regret that the Los Santos Police Department confirms the passing of Mr. Jason Castillo on Monday, October 27th, 2025, following the breaking of the news by the San Andreas State Government.
Mr. Castillo was a highly respected figure in the State of San Andreas, renowned for his long and distinguished career in the public service. Following his retirement from the San Andreas State Government in the March of 2024, he continued to serve the local communities through his role as part of the Government Oversight Committee.
In addition that however, Jason was also a regular volunteer at the Davis Homeless Shelter & Soup Kitchen as well as spending his weekends, helping the grateful staff at the Strawberry Veterinary Clinic, which houses a number of the City's stray animals. Not only was has leadership and commitment to integrity earned him respect, he was fondly thought of, in the Hispanic community.
Beyond his Government service, he has been a significant contributor to the City's business community, holding leadership positions at the Downtown Cab Company as well as operating and supporting local businesses such as Castillo Fitness, which sponsored a number of out of shape elderly citizens to be able to regain their fitness and freedom.
In addition to his lengthy contributions for the community, Jason was more than just a mere public servant, he was a close friend to the Los Santos Police Department throughout his tenure, a personal mentor to many of the upper echelon's of the Department and at his core, a genuine and warm calming influence. His passing represents a great loss and the scar of which, will take a long time to heal.
At this time, the Los Santos Police Department, in coordination with the relevant authorities, will be looking into the circumstances of Mr. Castillo's death, although given the sensitive nature of the investigation, it is not clear at this time to what degree the Los Santos Police Department, if at all, will be actively involved and no further comment on his death will be released beyond this, at this stage, in order to preserve the integrity of that ongoing inquiry.
We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Castillo's family, friends and colleagues during this emotionally difficult time. We ask that the public and media respect the family's privacy as they struggle to come to terms with a loss that is keenly felt by all of us.
