In Texas 1999, Ruth Monroe was born and raised. She grew up with a huge family doing a variety of things. She loved to go hunting, fishing, playing childhood games, growing her own crops, and raising cattle, but when she turned 16 she got serious in school because she knew what she wanted to do. Ruth wanted to become a cop so she started trying to get perfect grades to prove herself. As she was studying she was also involved with Future Farmers of America (FFA) selling her prize cattle and crops. Every morning she would wake up two hours before school and run at least a mile to keep up her shape. She wanted to help everyone around her so she started a group in her school who looked out for bullies and stood up for them. Time flew by while she was preparing herself for the big move to San Andreas State. When Ruth turned 18 she moved out of Texas and to the big city to start life all on her own.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
At least 2 hours a day or whenever the department needs me.
Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants?
I would love to join the San Andreas Department of corrections to help me learn and experience what its like to be a cop. To go into more detail I would like to become on Deputy at the Sheriff Department but I want to know what it is like working with criminals before I try to go out and find them. I would love to work here to also have some experience working in a team environment with wonderful people who also like or love to help, learn, and overall try to encourage the criminals to be better and try the legal way in life. I believe all of the applicants should get a fair review but I feel as if I should be hired because I would love to dedicate my time to becoming a corrections officer and I also will do whatever task I need to help the inmates and because I truly wish to help the inmates become better, protect and provide for them.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I would remain calm look at the situation and try to solve it quickly and efficiently.
What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 75 words)?
I tend to care for people and am very hard working. I can learn and pick up new information very quickly. I follow and do tasks directly as they're told. I listen very well and am great working as a team or alone if need be. I am pretty strong if something were to happen. I am willing to put my life on the line for the job and prisoners. I am very communitive and will help out in anyway I can. I can devote a lot of time to being a corrections officer. I feel as if I will be a great asset because I am willing to put everything I have to learning and becoming the best officer I can be for DOC.

I don't have any past experiences evolving being a corrections officer but I used to be a roadworker and timber logger. I'm hoping to start my career and experiences with DOC.
