  Two concrete bricks were found shortly down the coast with ropes tied to the Sergeant's legs. Sergeant DiMeo had been dead for several hours upon his body being found, and it appeared that the culprits ditched his body in the Alamo Sea at high tide, resulting in his body being revealed the next morning.
  
  Sergeant DiMeo was suspected of being involved in gang activities in the county, and his death is being investigated along with his alleged involvement with organized crime.
  
  Otherwise, Sergeant DiMeo served the county bravely and is being granted an honorable discharge.
