-
The San Andreas State Government are pleased to introduce the Judicial Branch.
After a thorough selection process, we are pleased to confirm we will be swearing in the judges today at 9PM.
The ceremony will take place at the Court House which is located between Strawberry Avenue and Vespucci Blvd – we have enclosed a picture of the building and GPS location below: -
We have put some frequently asked questions below:
- What will the role of Judicial be?
Initially, Judicial will be handling Search Warrant requests instead of the Commissioners. They will then be opening up applications for court clerks, we’ve looked at models other states have used and have put together a proposed training programme, but as this has not yet been tested it will be a work in progress.
The vision of the Judicial Department in the future will be to handle Criminal Appeals, which provides those convicted an opportunity to defend themselves in a court of law and appeal their charges and soon to come, civil proceedings will be opened so that parties can seek compensation, or defense by the courts. As mentioned the process will be a gradual one and Judicial will make various press releases when the next stages are available. - Who will be the Chief Justice?
We have not decided who will be Chief Justice as of yet, we’re reviewing applications from the judges.
We look forward to seeing you later!
