My name is Jeffery Burns. I was born in a suburb of Amarillo, Texas to my Mother and Father, as well as my older brother Paul
and my dog, Buddy. Throughout my childhood I didn't face many struggles, in fact, I almost had a perfect life, just me and my family in a well-off neighborhood, going to play in the park, and watching movies together every Saturday. This all changed when I was 14, and my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 thyroid cancer. This would go on to change my life forever. After pouring hundreds of thousands into a failed treatment for my father, he passed away 2 years later. Now, poor. depressed, and mourning, we packed up our stuff and moved to Los Santos, with hopes to start a new life. But that never happened. Instead, we remained poor, and with not enough money to go to college and no financial aid, I made the decision to enlist in the military. After serving for 5 years, I decided to move back to Los Santos, and I hope to find a new career in the SADOC.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I will be there all the time. I don't have much going on, or any friends, so I would love to be at work and spend time with all of you.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I want to join the SADOC because there is a major void in my life. I was recently laid off from a job I cared very greatly for, and think that this would be a fresh start. I really am thrilled to meet all of you, truly. You will be my best friends in all of Los Santos! Hire me because I am very friendly and a good person, and because I have nothing else to live for.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I am so, so good in these situations. Actually the best. Anyone will tell you I am the best at this. I got NO complaints at my last job.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 75 words)?
I am a hard worker who can come to work ALL the time (I promise). I am also such a personable and friendly guy, I can't wait to learn everything about all of you. I am the best candidate for this job.

I worked for the Marine Corps. I was a private. It was fun.

Have you had any admin punishments on any character? If so, explain:
Over a year ago I got a jail sentence. This jail sentence was issued because I was trying to role play as my character and didn't realize that the event I was at was official. Background: I am role playing as Boris, a methed up, drunk, clinically insane Russian man who chops off penises for fun in his spare time. I saw that there was a new marker on my map, buggy races. I attended the races as I thought it would be fun and even participated in one. I did not win, and when I got back to the crowd I saw an opportunity for some funny role play. What if I drove my van onto the track and raced with the buggies? I did this, and was instantly teleported off the track by an admin. Without giving me time to explain, he jailed me. I now realize that it probably wasn't fun for the participants in the race, and I have learned from my mistake. However, I was egged on by multiple other spectators, and was staying on par with my character's antics. Therefore I don't believe that I deserved an OOC punishment for my actions and that it was an IC matter.
