  • January 11th of 2022, Los Santos Blaine County: Following reports of rapidly increasing traffic-related offenses on the Great Ocean Highway, the Sheriff's Department finest, the Highway Enforcement Division, decided to step in.

To enforce our traffic laws, the Highway Enforcement Division conducted a Traffic Checkpoint Operation just outside Fort Zacundo at the end of the tunnel. The deputies of the Highway Enforcement Division utilized the high-tech vehicles of our fleet to effectively block the road and scan for speed violations from afar. Unfortunately, although the Christmas and New Year's festivities are long gone, many bad habits remained with the county's citizens, one of them being speeding and other various traffic offenses.

A couple of hours later, the operation succeeded, checking approximately 42 vehicles, issuing more than five tickets for various offenses, two license demerit points, one suspension, and an arrest.

The god-fearing, peaceful, and law-abiding citizens of our glorious county can now sleep peacefully knowing that the LSSD's Highway Enforcement Division has protected the roads and highways of our beautiful county.
