CHARGES BEING APPEALED:SF07-Bank Robbery
DEFENDANTS STORY/OPENING STATEMENTS:I was teaching a new client at the pump and run gymnasium. When the session ended the client was greeted by an unknown individual at the door who handed me what I believed to be the payment for the session. Afterwards I headed up north to go hunting but as I was getting onto the highway by the pier I was pulled over by the police from Cougar Avenue to Great Ocean Highway. After pulling over, I told the officer I was carrying an illegal firearm. I am unable to obtain a license for a firearm because I do not have a safe place to keep a firearm from the Firearms Licensing division point of view.I did not participate or was not a participant in any bank robbery and feel I should not have been charged for any crime I did not commit. I complied with officers when they stopped me. I admitted to having the cash on my person that was given to me and possession of illegal firearms. Those charges I do not dispute nor did I evade. Had it been open bank hours I would have gone there to deposit it straight away but since it was closed I went up north to go hunting before it opened (any evidence attached must pertain to or somehow involve the situation)
Signed,
Max Centrov

Witness Statement
- Greetings,
This was quite a while ago and barely remember the details to this situation. Our officers face challenges and dangers every day, many make their mark, can be recalled, many more don't, or details fade as time goes on. I will summarize the best I can.
Max was observed in the area, by our police air unit, leaving the area at the time of the bank robbery, seen either exiting the bank, or close too at the time. As Max was one of the last to leave the bank, our air unit followed them specifically, from the bank allowing ground units to engage. At this point the packed money and firearm was found in their possession. To additionally confirm our suspicions, we reviewed CCTV camera footage and checked the serial numbers with the bank to confirm and individual similarly clothed was assisting with the robbery and that the money came from the Life Invader (if I recall correctly) bank.
I believe we additionally inspected the individuals phone/text records and radio frequency to also confirm our suspicions but don't believe that exacted to anything. The suspect continued to pressure that he was not involved, however, simply the fact he was seen at the front door of the bank, leaving and found shortly after being followed with packed money, as well as CCTV footage and serial numbers, confirms involvement and we have no other reason to doubt otherwise.
After investigating this situation and pressing the charges, our detectives and myself often make notes of specific situations, especially ones as unique as this, however we immediately got into another situation (another bank robbery I believe) so it is true, there is very little information on this incident.
After recalling now the incident, and reviewing Max's record, I actually suspect he was to be an organized hostage, simply assisted the front intimidating the tellers, or was a spotter for the hit crew, but that is all alleged and a curiosity for another time that isn't relevant.
Thanks.

Motion to Compel Discovery
San Andreas Judicial Branch
Motion to Compel Discovery
Honorable Colt Daniels,
- We the Appellant in the case below are requesting the disclosure of the following material by opposing counsel, please find a detailed reason as to our request below.
Max Centrov v. Police Department
Assigned Court Case Number: #21-12-18-AP-021
Requesting Party: Appellant
Party Members: Dakota Macaw, Max Centrov
Discovery from: LSPD
Type of Discovery: Deposition/Document Request
- The arrest report for Mr. Max Centrov by the LSDP if such document exists.
Depositions from any other officer consequentially involved in the arrest, specifically of the AIR unit involved in Mr. Centrov's detention.
Detailed reasoning:
- As the current evidence leaves us with an unclear image of what exactly the Police Department believes happened, additional deposition (specifically that of AIR) would be very helpful in the case. As for the arrest report, it would be highly informative of the arrest.
Sincerely,

Dakota Macaw
