- U-Turns and You

It is has come to the attention of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department that many citizens don't know how to properly make a U-turn - especially on the bus routes. The LSSD has noticed numerous people making illegal u-turns near the Pauls' Farm bus stop and around the Paleto area.
Please remember that U-turns should be conducted in places that road markers state they can be done in. You should never back your bus into the highway, crossing multiple lanes of traffic in the process, just to make a U-Turn. An alternative would be pulling into a driveway and backing up safely.
“I never see people stop and look to the other side,” said Assistant Commanding Officer of the Highway Enforcement Division, Staff Sergeant Christopher Porter. “I always see them do a complete U-turn without even caring if anything is coming or not. If something were to be coming from the other side they would not have time to react. If a car were to hit the bus as it performed an illegal u-turn, the man in the car would not feel very good, possibly even die.”
Being in a bus does not make you immune from traffic laws. You will be punished accordingly if you violate these laws.
