On the night of the 25th September at around 1910, a patrol unit was waved in by a civilian nearby the Low-End Dealership in the La Puerta area - informing the Officers of an ongoing shootout, presumably a gang skirmish given the description of the attire the involved individuals were wearing - with the shootout taking place in Los Santos International Airport Terminal.
The unit that was waved in notified dispatch of the situation while they were responding requesting a wider, larger response to the incident. The first unit arrived on the scene of the incident within a minute of the call being made, and upon arrival, close to a dozen armed individuals were spotted at the scene of the Terminal in distinct clothing, groups of individuals in purple and black attire fleeing the area. As additional units responded a tactical frequency was employed for better communication before a pursuit was initiated on a black SUV seen picking up a heavily armed individual at the scene of the crime. The pursuit spanned from Los Santos International Airport to Grove Street, in the Davis Area where the driver crashed into a tree after losing a tire. The driver and one passenger were apprehended and uninjured, and later taken to the Department of Corrections for processing after questioning followed regarding their involvement in the shootout. Two illegal firearms were seized, one being an automatic rifle that was discharged at responding units at the Los Santos Airport.

Not long after the initial situation was concluded another shootout was reported in the area of Grove Street between the two same groups identifiable by their color-specific attire. The Metropolitan Division was quick to respond as the threat was assessed to be ever so larger and closer to civilians than before. Arriving units came under gunfire from both groups as weapons continued to blaze in the alleyways of Davis Avenue. As responding units continued to establish presence in the area suspects fled, with some being apprehended during their daring attempt to flee. Only two individuals were reported to have left the situation entirely without being identified, but their involvement has not been confirmed during the investigation of the incident.

The disastrous shootout left 7 individuals deceased, all confirmed to be affiliated gang members partaking in the skirmish - some identified from the shootout at the Los Santos Airport as evading suspects. The Gang and Narcotics Division continues to crack down on gang presence in Los Santos with a stern stance on gang influence and a clear mission to dismantle gang operations as a whole.
