- What the effects were on public safety for easily half of a shift on the last two days

Dear Naomi Mizuno,

Thank you for submitting an information request through our public inquiries section. Unfortunately, the Los Santos Police Department, at this point in time, will not be disclosing any information pertaining to the events that had transpired as the initial incident and the subsequent actions taken by a member of our Command Staff are currently under review by the Internal Affairs Group, and it is in our and their best interest to not disclose the information of a relatively large-scaled ongoing internal investigation.

The force continuum is the established policy that employees of the Los Santos Police Department act in accordance with when faced with certain incidents, as it provides guidelines and requirements prior to the use of any type of escalation and force by a Police Officer. A breach of this could be constituted as a wide variety of matters based on the circumstances, it could range from an improper deployment (not use) of a taser to the improper discharge of a firearm.
