On the early afternoon of Saturday, the 18th of September 2021, the Los Santos Police Department received a 911 call from a distressed civilian. The civilian stated that a large gathering took place around the Los Santos Scrapyard which showed biases from criminal activity involvement and that they verified that their stolen vehicle was present - which Officers were already on the lookout for. Units from the Los Santos Police Department responded to the 911 call and arrived shortly after the call was made. Upon their arrival, their suspicions were confirmed when they saw the car being taken apart. When the Officers were seen, the suspects attempted to drive away from said officers in a purple sports vehicle and a pursuit quickly emerged.
The lengthy pursuit brought both the occupants of the purple vehicle as well as the responding Officers through multiple areas of the City of Los Santos, during which the driver of the purple vehicle drove recklessly and was endangering the public. During this pursuit, the responding units of the Los Santos Police Department followed the suspect vehicle from a close distance to try and guide the vehicle outside of the city to ensure the safety of the general public.
The vehicle stalled nearby Milton Road after colling with a pole at very high speeds. The responding units proceeded by quickly surrounding the vehicle, disabling the suspects' abilities to drive away - at this point, the responding units closed in on the two suspects after which they quickly surrendered themselves. Both suspects were arrested and unharmed.
After both suspects had been searched, it became evident that both were in possession of an illegal firearm that they carried on their person. After these had been secured and set up for storage, both suspects were charged and processed before being sent to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve a lengthy sentence. We would like to thank the Officers for their diligent performance as well as the civilian who made the original 911 call, who ensured units of the Los Santos Police Department were notified and were able to offer their assistance.-
