For the first time since the formation of the Community Relations Unit situated under the Media Relations Division it has organized their first-ever event on the 6th of August, 2021 at the Pacific Bluffs Resort. The event was open to all members of the public which allowed the event to house over sixty participants. The Community Relations Unit strives to establish a stronger bond between the Los Santos Police Department and the larger public through its community outreach program. Additionally, this was the first time the Community Relations Unit was introduced to the wider public. The event was announced through our Public Releases section and social media platforms.

  • The night knew various events and entertainment for plenty of laughter and joy. The two main attractions of the night were two minigames, one named 'Dunk an Officer' where participants had the chance to dunk an Officer in water by throwing a ball at a small metal sheet - and the other minigame was a small foot race, a relay held on the beach of the resort. Another activity included the raffling of a Cypher, a prestigious vehicle that was won by an attending citizen. Not only could the attending citizens enjoy popular tunes played by DJ Asbjorn Schmidt, but could indulge themselves in snacks and drinks provided by a local business, Raven Deliveries, to pair with the atmosphere.

  • Representatives from Bayview, the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, the Los Santos Police Department, and the Los Santos Customs all attended the event to talk to all attending civilians and give them the opportunity to ask them anything they had wanted to know ever since at their 'Meet and Greet' stands.

The final activity of the event night was spinning the raffle wheel. In total, the raffle had an outstanding total of 422 entries, 47 individual entries which would make one winner. A big spin on the wheel crowned the winner of a brand new Cypher. After this, the attending citizens had the time to enjoy some more summer songs and cold drinks before the night was concluded.

Last but not least, we would like to take the time to thank all the attending citizens of the State of San Andreas to make this event an unprecedented success. The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services assisted with the hosting of the event immensely by providing medical supervision to attending citizens - allowing the event to go through without incidents. We hope everyone enjoyed their time on the beaches of Pacific Bluffs - see you at the next one!
