Detailed information of your request:

Hello,

In the State of San Andreas Penal Code, Revised 2021 Edition, NM04 - Disturbing The Peace is defined as follows;
NM04 - Disturbing The Peace
"Acting in an unruly manner disturbing the peace."
When the LSPD considers applying this charge to an individual, what does the LSPD define as "disturbing the peace." Seeing as the charge name is also used in the description of the charge, clarity in this instance would be most beneficial to the citizens of the great State of San Andreas.

Thank you!

  • Ms. Emily Whitehorse,

    I hope you are doing well first and foremost.

    NM04 - Disturbing the Peace falls under the set of Nuisance Misdemeanors which refer to acts that are considered harmful or offensive to the public peace. Acting in an unruly manner is considered, but is not limited to; intentionally playing loud music after a warning, shouting in a public place intending to incite violence or unlawful activity, fighting or challenging another person to fight unlawfully in public, acting in a contradicting manner compared to the time of day, location, occasion, and local standards. Should an individual present themselves as a nuisance, annoyance, or inconvenience to the public peace, they are liable to be charged with Disturbing the Peace.

    The Los Santos Police Department is tasked with preserving public peace and providing needed community services - any act considered harmful or offensive to the public peace dependant on the time of day, location, and set standard can and will be met with legal repercussions. I hope this answers your inquiry, if not, feel free to follow up on anything that may require clarification. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Sincerely,

Hello Tim Havlicek, I'm doing wonderful thank you, I hope the same for you!

I apologize for the long delay in response, an individual I had been speaking too prior to making the request on this topic had not been available the last few days and I wanted their response in case I needed supplementary information as a follow up to the initial response you provided. After speaking to them, as well as feeling all information had been provided adequately, I believe this will not be necessary.

Thank you again for the response, I hope you stay safe over the course of your duties!

P.S: I wish to congratulate you on your promotion to Police Sergeant II !
