  • The San Andreas State Government is happy to announce some upgrades to the State of San Andreas Penal Code. These changes better serve the community and allow officers a clearer picture on how to charge and enforce the law.

The first change is with GM-18 Bribery. Bribery is currently poorly described as only being applicable to "official" matters, with an unclear idea of what that means. Instead, we have painted a more clear picture of what this means and is intended to cover. Additionally, a firearms license will no longer be revoked in this instance. If a firearm is used there are other charges which apply which will result in the appropriate revocation.

The second change is with WF-06 Firearms Trafficking. Currently it is strangely worded and could be misconstrued and applicable to someone traveling with only 1 illegal firearm, which is not the intent of the law. It was decided the intent of this law is to be charged on individuals who have an amount of firearms that exceeds a possibility to be for personal use, therefore, we have decided an individual in possession of 5 or more illegal fire arms or unlicensed firearms at one time is considered exceeding personal use and that they should be charged with Weapons Trafficking.

Please see the official changes below.
