DEFENDANTS STORY/OPENING STATEMENTS: (any evidence attached must pertain to or somehow involve the situation)
I had just moved to the city when I became stranded in the northern Paleto I was by the farm and there was some people working there that had an RV sitting running I asked for a ride back to the city. I was told I could use it to get back to the city, I was then stopped by SD and was asked if it was mine I told them no and said I was using it to get back to the city. I was then taken out and arrested for grand theft auto. I feel the people that said I could take it knew it was already stolen and basically set me up to be found in it. I have not had any charges since besides a speeding ticket here an there nothing serious. I now am a EMT Advanced I am a fire fighter and have my pilots license to fly the Medevac. I am not a threat to the city and feel I have proven myself to show that I am here to help the citizens of this great city. I wanna possibly join SD and this charge would bar me from doing so. Please consider my request. Thank you.
