Request Information
Detailed information of your request:
Hello,
On June 24th, I came across the end of a police pursuit involving a stolen white Rhapsody that ended in a crash into the Vespucci Canals. The suspect on scene was identified as Robert Blunt. Because I only caught the end of the incident, I was hoping that the Los Santos Police Department would be able to provide more information on the pursuit, which I believe may have included a helicopter. Any information or comments on the situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and for keeping our city safe!
Warmest Regards,
Molly Devil

The incident you are requesting information for occurred on the 25th of June. (( UTC ))
During a patrol on the 25th of June, 2021 a Police Officer of the Los Santos Police Department was waved in by a civilian at around 18:30 nearby the Bank of Los Santos. The Police Officer reports that the mentioned civilian reported their vehicle as stolen during the encounter - the Police Officer conducting the investigation collected all and any necessary information and evidence for a lookout notice.
A few minutes pass and a Police Officer that was assisting with a 911 call at the Del Perro Pier, in the Vespucci area, noticed the vehicle of interest, matching the visual description and license number plate of the stolen vehicle from the lookout notice. The Police Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle before the driver, the suspect, fled the stop in an attempt to evade law enforcement. Per protocol, a pursuit was initiated and three additional units, along with an airship responded to the ongoing vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended in the Vespucci Canals area with the suspect crashing the stolen vehicle into one of the canals. The suspect was apprehended with no reported injuries and the stolen vehicle was retrieved and given back to its rightful owner.
The suspect was charged with two felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. The Los Santos Police Department has taken and is taking a number of initiatives to not only effectively, quickly, and safely apprehend criminals, but to suppress crime and ultimately prevent it from happening. I hope this is the information you were looking for, if you have any additional questions or information that needs to be followed up on, let us know!
- Sincerely,

Police Sergeant I Tim Havlicek
Assistant Commanding Officer, Media Relations Division
