Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Alaska showed me a different way of life, survival was one of the main things that you learn when living there. You never know what type of animal will meet you in the woods or look to attack at any moment. I feel this is where I got my protect and serve mentality. I have many friends back home who couldn't protect themselves and I took it upon myself to assist them in 'walking to school' etc. I was a very active kid when I lived in Alaska. I played hockey and when to school there until I graduated from the most culturally diverse school in America. I then joined the military straight out of high school. I served a total of 3 years in the military. That is where I met my now ex-wife and we had a child named James. Soon after having James, my ex could not undertake my work-life balance. Tensions got high and things didn't feel like they use to. I decided it was best for me to move out and try and find a new place of my own. So I have moved to Los Santos for a shot to show James that I am not the deadbeat father that she makes me out to be. I want to prove to him that I actually have a good head on my shoulders and I am a role model to look up to. That is why I'm applying here to the DOC.
I will be putting in maximum time and dedication towards the department. This will be my number one duty when I'm awake. I will have a lot to learn and the only way to do that is to put the hours in.
I would not have reason to say that I should be selected over one person or another who I have not met. However, I do think that I have the drive and passion for the law of Los Santos to work harder than any other candidate here. I am willing to put those extra hours in to learn and understand procedures and extensive training to be a member of the DOC department. I will take the extra moments to make sure the job is done right. This passion for getting things right the first time was instilled in me during my time with the Space Force and I continue to utilize these traits that I have learned in my day-to-day life and my professional career. Again, I have not met the others but I know if I am selected I will put that extra ten percent in one hundred and ten percent.
My job in the military causes me to adapt and think quickly during high-stress scenarios. I was able to show admiration and leadership during my time in these times. I hand these situations with a direct, thoughtful, and defuse mentality. I will think through the whole situation and be able to attack the scenario based on my thought process and procedures.
I have multiple qualifications that would be an asset to the DOC. Some of my strengths are being personable, honest, along with a heavy understanding of leadership and an incentive to learn as much as I can. I understand the life of a citizen and where people come from, how they think and feel. I think with sympathy and compassion in my actions. I work great in a team environment. I thrive with a common goal of making the city and county a safer and happier place. I am also BLS certified with real-world experience in BLS.

/me is used when describing player actions that don't really have an animation for such as /me tries to cuff the inmate while pushing the shank away from him.
/do is used when you are describing something that is accurate action or trying to clarify a scenario. You might use this as /do does the bleeding stop? after rp-ing a BLS kit on an inmate or /do how would the inmate get up and run?
