[Dishonorable Discharge] Roger Barrington

Authorizing Deputy: Assistant Sheriff Pierce Hardy
Reason: Whilst in the position of Deputy Sheriff I and under obligations of Oath of Office, Mr. Barrington has been found to do the following:-- Was in personal contact with an individual who was a felon.
- At all material times knew the individual was felon.
- Had a 'personal' relationship with said individual and described them as "friends".
- Had allowed the individual access his personal property on multiple occasions.
- Had given the individual a sum of $2000 for an unknown purpose. He did so "...because we are friends and [they] asked...".
The relationship between Mr. Barrington and the felon is an inappropriate relationship. Such relationship and behavior in it's totality amounts to a breach of the intended purpose of section 1.1.3 of the Los Santo's County Sheriff's Department Manual and the sworn Oath of Office.
