Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Benny Bush. I am a 25 year old Irish man who spent most of my years in Dublin. I was always big into running and soccer. Where I grew up I was constantly surrounded by crime. It was hard to stay away from it but the sport was what kept me going. When i turned 20 I went off to college to study criminology so I could get a better understanding of the people in my area. I began the training process to be a prison guard in Ireland's biggest prison, Mount Joy. However, I decided that I would keep my promise to my younger self and leave Dublin. Since coming to this city I have been a bus driver and occasionally would go down to the pier and fish. I really have a passion for helping people turn their life around into something great and I believe I have the skills to do that.
This is a career that I am passionate about! I want to be in there helping as many people as possible and as much as possible. I would be able to dedicate 10-20 hours P/W
I am passionate to join the SADOC because I have seen first-hand how crime has ruined people and their families and I am passionate about giving inmates a second chance at life. Being part of such a great team doing such a rewarding job is something I have always wanted. I believe this would be the best path for me in this city. Although I have done some prison guard training back in Dublin I am still eager to learn and I truly believe that 'every day is a school day'.
You should hire me over other applicants for a number of reasons. I have grown up and worked around criminals and I understand a lot of problems in their life that may have led them down the road they are currently on. I am a very patient person. I have a degree in Criminology and I feel as though this would benefit me in the role. I am an honest and trustworthy guy. I am very understanding and respectful and I believe this is important when working with inmates.
When adapting to a stressful situation it is important that you have the correct attitude. In a job like this it is important to remain cool, calm and collected so you can make the correct call. I always try a solution-focused approach when in a stressful situation.
I am an honest person and I value my integrity. I accept any demands from my superior as I believe they know best. If I am ever unsure of something I will always ask questions that way the job can be done in the most efficient manner. I love communicating with people as much as possible. I have great teamwork skills which I believe would be highly important in this line of work. I will always take responsibility for my actions. Im always open for constructive criticism as I believe that is how people grow.

I was on a football team back in Dublin and that really helped my teamwork. I also done multiple group assignments when I was in college and there was a lot of conflict within those groups and I feel like I handles it well and resolved it.

/me would be used as an action that you would do in real life but may not be able to do ingame. An example: /Me spreads legs and allow officer to pat me down. /Me wipes tear away from his eye. /me holds left side of his chest in pain.
/Do would be observations or result of an action. Examples: /Do there would be a smell of marijuana coming from vehicle.. /do phone would be in front left pocket etc.
