Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Shaz Nechayeva. I was born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1998. My mum travelled there for a specific reason. She could not receive sperm donor treatment back in the United Kingdom, where she was born, and where I would soon live for the majority of my life. Shortly after I was born, my mum met an Estonian man, who she went on to marry and fall pregnant with my half-sister Elina. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last as my mum and Elina’s dad fell out and filed for divorce 2 days after Elina’s 3rd birthday. My mum then decided to flee back to the United Kingdom as she was financially unstable, and needed the help of our relatives back home. At this point, I already had dual citizenship due to my British heritage and being born in Estonia.
We moved back to my mother’s home city of Liverpool, where I essentially grew up and went to school until I was 18. Liverpool was never my favourite place. I never felt fully at home. Maybe my heart belonged in Estonia, but I never knew for sure. So for university, at the age of 18, I decided to apply for Oxford University and move away from Liverpool. Fortunately I got accepted to study Fashion Design & Molecular Biology at Oxford University for 3 years, with a year abroad, making it 4 years total. I loved my time at Oxford. I made so many new friends there who accepted me for being me. It felt more of a home than Liverpool ever did. As I said, I got the chance to study abroad, and I had never been to Estonia since I left, however, I did keep in contact with Elina through the years, but we had not seen each other in person since we were children. So I decided to study at Tallinn University. I can’t begin to explain how conflicted I am today with that decision I made…
Upon landing in Estonia, I was instantly greeted by my half-sister Elina who showed me around the city of Tallinn. Once my studies started, I saw less of her… Tallinn University was a great opportunity for me to expand my horizons. While I loved studying molecular biology, and had a huge passion for fashion designing, I was so excited to try something new. That’s where I discovered my new passion, and talent, for operatic singing. My first class in classical opera was a breeze. I not only learned a lot about the history of opera, but also discovered my natural born talent for this style of singing. My professors always praised me for that. So much that they entered me into the Eesti Laul music competition, an annual music competition held in Estonia. I jumped on this opportunity. The judges loved me, and so did the public. That was all until Elina, my half-sister, came along. I had no idea she was an opera singer too. Long story short, she robbed me of my victory, and was crowned the winner. I was LIVID. This really taught me that blood really isn’t thicker than water. We had a falling out. I was helpless.
I was depressed. Ordering take out, not leaving my house. I gained a lot of weight. One day, I was ordering food from Subway, and that changed my life forever. I opened the door to the delivery driver. She looked exactly like me. Well, shorter, a bit more pudgier than me (even after my recent weight gain), and she had this long but dead and matted hair. I instantly felt a connection. Another long story short – that’s the day I met my long-lost half-sister (one of my sperm donor father’s many unknown children). I instantly felt happier. I lost my weight, graduated from Talinn University with the highest degree. My life had changed for the better. While I felt like I lost Elina, I gained Wendy.
She felt hopeless to, so once my year abroad was over, she came back to the United Kingdom with me. Now that was a short stop. I was seething with jealousy. My sister Elina was becoming quite famous in Estonia. My talent was going unnoticed. One day after landing back in the UK, I received an email from one of my fellow Oxford University alumni. He had a business opportunity for me. Now I was a recent graduate, unemployed, and starting to turn to a depressive episode again. I needed something to take my mind off it. So I listened with open ears.
The next thing I know, I am on a first class flight to Los Santos, with my half-sister Wendy sat next to me. My friend needed someone to open up a fashion business in the heart of the United States. It was scary at first, but what did I have to lose? I said goodbye to my Mum, who was now happily married to another Estonian man, who actually was 4th in line to the Estonian monarch throne. That’s a story for another day.
I had an idea after my first week in Los Santos, I was in the biggest, most popular country in the world. Everything was at my fingertips. More than Elina had anyway. I decided to try and make it as a mainstream opera singer in the USA. It was the perfect idea. I could become a huge famous celebrity and fashion designer, internationally known, while Elina would be scraping the barrel trying to make a living in Estonia. I went for it. And I’m still going for it to this day. It’s my ultimate dream. Stepping out of my home every day in Los Santos is inviting a different story to be told. Nothing is ever the same, and I have achieved so much in the 2 years I’ve lived here. Made friends, enemies, made a difference. Now I can’t carry on with this biography, I have actually signed a book deal to write a professional one to be published. So if you want to know more, you will have to buy the book. I can email you a pre-order link whenever it’s available if you’d like? Just let me know.
While I am a very busy and successful woman, as I am handling my fashion design business, my opera singing career, and being a social media influencer, I can always make time to make a difference. That's why people love me. I could give so much time each week if I were to be hired. As for my energy, I give my all to everything I am passionate about.
My half-sister Wendy has had criminal tendencies in the past. I know what it’s like to work, and live, around criminals. With my help, Wendy turned a new leaf. She is no longer a criminal, and is now a great citizen of Los Santos, who I am proud to call my half-sister. She has changed so much with my help, and I think I could offer that to the other criminals of Los Santos. SADOC is most likely the 2nd, or only home, to the majority of criminals in Los Santos, and I feel like, actually, I KNOW, that I could help change lives if I was to work there. It’s what I love doing. I am also open to looking to develop my personal attributes and broaden my skills, I am an over-achiever and a very ambitious individual. I want to do as much as I can in my lifetime to make a difference. That’s why I should be hired. As for why I should be hired over other applicants. Well, I believe I am the right person for this job. More than anyone else in the city. There is no competition. I should be the one accepted for this amazing opportunity, which I am more than experienced for. I would also like to add I recently attended the Los Santos Career Fair where I visited the SADOC stands and you all made a huge impression on me, and I decided I would like to apply for a job.
As I have said in my biography, I have gone through so many stressful situations in my short lifetime. I have had to adjust to my environments whenever I am faced with pressure or stress. I've done it so much that it is natural to me now. I can handle pressure and stress with great ease. I am also a very logical and intelligent woman, and can most definitely fix a problem, or find a solution to these stressful situations for myself and others around me.
Not only does my 1st class degree (with honours) in Fashion Design and Molecular Biology from Oxford University guarantee I have amazing fashion sense and a high IQ, but I have learned so many skills from these subjects that can be applied to every day life, and almost any career. I am very logical and intelligent, I can understand and learn things very quickly. I have an amazing personality, I’m great to get along with – just ask my friends, and any citizen of Los Santos I have come across. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I am a very understanding person who is so invested into making other people’s days better. As I have previously said, I am also an extremely hard worker. I give my all to every challenge I am faced with. With my multiple careers, you can also tell I am very ambitious, and if hired at SADOC, I would apply the same mentality and try and work my way to the top. I have so much to offer.
