-
  • The San Andreas State Government is pleased to announce that the San Andreas Penal Code has been updated to reflect on the new year, 2021.

The following changes have been introduced:
    • City of Los Santos Penal Code 2020 has been reworded to State of San Andreas Penal Code 2021.
    • The modifier "Crime against a Government Employee" has had its description updated. This is to clarify that the modifier applies to the men and women of the San Andreas Department of Corrections as well as the men and women who serve as firefighters for the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services.
      • New:"Any person(s) who commits a crime against an on-duty peace officer, paramedic, firefighter, or correctional officer."
      • Old:"Any crime in which the victim of the crime is employed by the Los Santos Government (Police & Medic)."
    • The modifier "Aggravated Crime" has had its description updated to clarify that crimes committed against individuals that required hospitalization is to be considered aggravated.
      • New: "Any person who commits a crime where any victim requires hospitalization as a direct result of the crime."
      • Old: "Any person who commits a crime where any victim requires medical resuscitation as a direct result of the crime."
    • NM-11 Misuse of Government Public Safety Radio Frequencies or Hotlines has been changed. This is to reflect on the ongoing abuse of our emergency hotlines to prank or to call certain officers derogatory names. There no longer needs to be criminal intent for individuals to be charged with NM-11 should they misuse the system. The penalty was reduced from 15 days to 10 days in jail, and from a $1,500 fine to a $750 fine.
      • New: "Any person who knowingly misuses, abuses, disrupts, impedes, or otherwise interferes with and obstructs a transmission over a public safety radio frequency, or uses a government hotline that is intended for emergency assistance with a purpose or intention that is not contacting the government with a legitimate concern or ushering for immediate assistance."
      • Old: "Any person who knowingly misuses, abuses, disrupts, impedes, or otherwise interferes and obstructs with a transmission over a public safety radio frequency with criminal intent."
We hope that these changes can reflect on the great progress that the San Andreas State Government hopes to achieve in 2021. This year will be the year for the people, where we intend on implementing our second arm next to the Executive Branch of the Government, the Judicial Branch, and quite possibly the third arm, the Legislative Branch. However, the third arm is not confirmed but it lies in our interests. More on that later this year.

    Thank you.
