Welcome to this month's press release for the LSEMS. We've had a somewhat busy month! Always plenty of calls, a lot of training and snow!.

As always, the staff at LSEMS hope you have a safe and enjoyable time around Los Santos.

The Employee of the month award is an honor we, at LSEMS, bestow upon a colleague who has shown exemplary devotion to duty. Their efforts stand as a representation of how we can all strive to better ourselves and our communities through hard work, diligence, and self-sacrifice.

The staff of LSEMS would like to congratulate Mrs. Winter Black for being Decembers 2020's Employee of the Month! Mrs. Black began her service as an EMR back at the beginning of August and has quickly become an extreme value to this department with her hard work and dedication to the divisions she is apart of. She is an active member of our very own Public Relations department and did a great job with this press release. Not only this she is apart of our Field Training Instructor, Air and Rescue, Advanced Medical Department, and Basic Life Support. Just recently she has become a member of Human Resources. Besides all of the departmental things that she does, she is also a huge team player as well as keeps the morale of all the staff high when she is around.

The Division of the month award is an honor we, at LSEMS, bestow upon a division that goes out of their way to make sure they are taking care of duties within the LSEMS or taking care of the citizens of Los Santos.

The Crisis Response Unit (CRU) has worked wonders during this month. One of the biggest things that the LSEMS stumbled upon was a CRU case that ultimately involved the LSPD. Overall the division is doing wonders at ensuring that Mental Health Care is open and readily available to anybody who needs it. No matter what the CRU division is always open to talk to people and help with cases that normal medics are not trained for. They keep a strong mentality and deal with things people don't show on the service and provide care for them to help them get better and live an amazing life in the city of Los Santos. If you are ever curious about what the CRU division is about and want to learn more do not hesitate to contact the Head of CRU, Samantha Tenbe, or any of their amazing team members.

With each month, our press release focuses on a different health concern that affects the public. And although this topic is not as widespread as the previous topics we've covered, it is still an issue that affects some of the citizens of Los Santos.

We wanted to inform the public that we can help those who are addicted to drugs. All our medics are trained to test for drugs in someone's system and they know how to proceed in the course of trying to wean someone off of drugs with specialist medication.

Although most of our services are free to the public, this is one of the few services we provide which the public does have to pay for. Medication starts at $500 but we can offer support in the form of medication and free councilling with our specialist division CRU.
