Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Olivia Can, and prior to Los Santos, I led a very sheltered life. I thought life in LS would be like those reality shows you see on TV, like COPS or Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but I was oh so very wrong. Since being in LS, I've saved lives and held those who attempted to endanger mine at gunpoint. In the end, I became someone who, despite what she has seen, still tries to see the best and bring happiness to the citizens of LS each and every time I save them on or off duty as a medic. Hopefully, I will be able to continue passing along that joy to others stationed at S.A.D.O.C as well.
In the event that I am hired I plan to resign from LSEMS, so that I can put my full energy towards becoming the best correctional officer I can be!
I want to join S.A.D.O.C. because correctional officers are very important to the stability and everyday life of Los Santos. It would be my honor to be apart of what I feel is an under appreciated department. By joining I believe that I will bring some much needed life and fun to the prisoners as well as the other guards. I also think that there is a possibility my relationships with criminals will aid in smoothing over transitions from officer's or deputies into the hands of the correctional officers. What I am intending for each day I enter the correctional facility is to do my very best in order to make sure that the people I work with and care for are safe, happy, and healthy.
When I'm in high pressure situations I find it best to take a deep breath and observe the situation then take it one problem at a time starting with the point of most contention. I'd do my best to calm all parties down and find a solution to the conflict. Trying to take over can often lead to a lot of voices screaming at once, so sometimes it's best to let the leaves settle for a few seconds and then begin problem solving.
I believe that I am an asset because I can keep calm in stressful situations. Also I'm very friendly and kind, which could be seen as a weakness for a correctional officer, but when you first meet a criminal it's easier to be mean to them and judge them for what they've done then it is to try and walk in their shoes. I think with my unique approach to criminals you'll find S.A.D.O.C. could run even smoother than it already does!
