Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Edward O’Hare, I was born in Los Santos, but moved to Liberty City when I was 10 years old with my Father James O’Hare and my older brother Jimmy O’Hare after our mother Ida O’Hare passed away. My younger years were spent running the streets with my older brother Jimmy and kids from the local neighborhood which were a pretty rough bunch. I was frequently in trouble at a young age which would anger my father James who was a Liberty City Police Officer. When I was 17 years old me and my brother Jimmy were outside a club in downtown Liberty City when a fight broke out between Jimmy and 2 locals who were drunk. Jimmy ended up stabbing the two people involved, and killing one of them. Jimmy got 30 years for the fight and the murder of the one person involved. My Father then decided it was time that I left Liberty City so that the neighborhood would not claim another one of his sons lives. My Father sent me to live with my grandparents in Los Santos. My Father would frequently send letters including money to help pay for schooling even though he barely had the money to pay his own rent for the apartment he was living in. As a young adult his dedication as a Father and a public servant instilled a sense of duty in me. After graduating highschool I spent several years doing odd jobs to make a living, however nothing really stuck with me, At 32 I feel like I’ve done a little of everything and yet nothing at the same time, I feel like I owe it to my father to step up and follow in his footsteps and starting my career in Law Enforcement.
Available for full time hours to learn the jobs ins and outs, that said I don't call in sick often, rarely take vacations or extended leaves of absences. My previous jobs can attest to my clean attendance records.
I’m looking for a career in the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I feel duty bound to follow in my father's footsteps as a Law Enforcement Officer. I also feel as if there is a sense of honor in serving my community to the best of my abilities. Working for the Department of Correction is also a challenge for myself as I want to push myself to see what my limits are. I want to meet new people, and make connections which may help me in my future endeavours. I also want a career which has opportunities for upward movement when the time comes. The daily challenges which the San Andreas Department of Correction will pose will help me grow as a person and keep me on the straight and narrow.
Stress has never been an issue for me, I’ve always been able to quickly stop, step back from the situation, calm down and come to a quick and concise decision no matter what the situation entails. I’ve been able to deal with high stress and high pressure situations since a young age growing up on the streets of Liberty City.
I’m a self starter and a highly motivated individual, when I put my mind to something I will see it through till the end. I work great in highly stressful situations and I always strive for greatness. I’m a quick study and always willing to learn new things. Once I pick up on something I try to be the best I can at it. I’m calm and slow to anger and have relatives who’ve been in and out of the system so I know how to approach and communicate with them. At the same time I have relatives on the force so I understand both sides of the law.

I work as an Asset Protection Associate where I utilize CCTV surveillance systems to monitor and catch thieves in a retail setting, once we identify a subject who is in the act we monitor them using CCTV systems or covert floor surveillance, when that subject commits the act of theft we make an apprehension. Once the subject is apprehended we manage the case work writing reports and documenting the incident.
