Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Stephen Oconner and I came to this city from Detroit, MI. I was born and raised in the Motor City and have a fond passion for cars. As soon as I came to this city I wanted to ensure that I helped out as many people as I possibly could. This would mean helping out those that are in trouble, or those that are troubled. That is why I took a job at BayView because I knew I would come across all kinds of people there that I would be able to help out on a daily basis. My father was a police office for the Detroit Police Department for 48 years before he retired and I want to go into law enforcement as well to follow in his footsteps..
I plan on dedicating as much of my time and energy as I possibly can if I am given the opportunity to be employed. I am an extremely hard worker and am that person that you only need to tell things to one time. I am going to make sure I am on my A game throughout the whole process and even into my tenure of being there.
I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I want to be the one who helps out those that are troubled. I feel like I didn’t have that opportunity but was fortunate enough to where I didn’t go down a dark path in this city. I kept on the straightened arrow for my entirety of being here thus far. I am an extremely hard worker and only need to be told things once. I am a nose to the ground kind of guy and never question my superiors commands to do work. I feel like I should be hired over other candidates because of my work ethic alone. I’ve never been fired from a job and my ambition is to truly help people out. I feel as if SADOC is going to be a career for myself and not just “another job” to get me by in this city.
Working for DCC and BayView I feel like I had pressure and stressful situations thrown at me all the time. Especially from my youth up since my dad was a cop, it was stressful to even think if he would make it home on a daily basis. I always have a cool and calm composure and never overreact to anything, as it would just add fuel to the fire.
I can’t stress enough that I have a very good work ethic. Being the person with the level head and calm composure is one of my many assets that I feel I would bring to this job. I do a great job of talking people “off the ledge” because of my personality of being able to talk to people. In a job like SADOC you need to ensure you leave your “hot temper” at the door because it would easily be able to get triggered. I am not that person at all.

My only history of law enforcement is that of my father working for the Detroit Police Department. I have been around police officers my entire life.
I have worked for DCC, Weazel, and BayView, which is my current job.
Back in Detroit I worked for one of the major cable companies and ran my own team of technicians. Here in this city, I've worked for most of the jobs that required you to be apart of a team.
I have never been convicted of any crimes.

/me would represent me doing an action. We use this all the time at BayView. An example would be "/me Pulls out BayView PDA and creates an invoice to send to the customer"
/do would represent me physically doing an action without actually being able to do it. An example would be when we send out an invoice for customers to sign at BayView we would get the response "/do Signs"
