Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I am Kieran Omalley, I grew up in a rough part of Belfast with my mother and my younger brother James Omalley. My mum was a single mum and found it difficult raising the both of in such a troubled area and found herself turning to drugs to cope. Going through life I always tried to outshine my brother, while back home in Belfast he took to the streets to make his way in life I choose to excel in school and sports. As we got older I seen the affects that crime has had on my family so as soon as I left school I applied for the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) and started at the local training centre. Two months into my training I got a call from my mums nieghbour saying they kept hearing really loud music and it was disturbing their kids sleep. Understanding she would call the cops I rushed home to find my mum overdosed over the kitchen table, as I rushed over to help her I felt my breathing quicken and my hands start to shake, it was too late. Noticing a phone beside her I take a look at her texts and seen one to my brother from yesterday "Could you drop off my stuff tonight please son, I am running low and need some to keep me going" and a reply "sure thing mum x" Upon seeing this message my memory went foggy, at one point I was walking to my training centre, next thing I know I had a gun in my hand and was outside my brothers friends house. As I kicked the door in and rushed inside I seen my brother crying and as I pulled the gun and threw the phone at him he shouted "Its not what you think let me explain" but before he got the chance I shot. The bullet grazed his shoulder and before I took another shot I was stroke from behind by a woman with a bat. As I wrestled the bat of the woman I heard my brother dive out the front door and run off. I never seen him since, the last thing I heard is he boarded a plane to Los Santos.
Quite a considerable amount of time at the beginning, maybe 20 or so hours a week. When I start back at work I should be able to dedicate around 10 hours a week, more on the weekends
Because I will be dedicated to the job, my life growing up I am accustomed to dealing with vulnerable individuals and how to help and support them and to restrain them if necessary to protect themselves and others. I understand that DOC is not only about locking down criminals in the city it is all about rehibilation, if we can make it that even 10 people leave DOC and never commit a crime again but instead pursue a career in another field I think we have achieved our goal. I can be harsh when necessary but I think I can help educate the first timers. I have always wanted to help people who have just arrived in the city but never being able to achieve my long term goals just yet due to not having the finances. I have a dream to open up a counselling room at DOC for prisoners to talk to a guard or maybe even someone who was once a criminal but reformed and teach them before its too late that the criminal life is not what it is cracked up to be. I would educate them on the opportunities in the city to make a living and thrive without spending your life behind bars. I would also like to educate them on how gangs in the city will prey on them to commit crimes and murders for them while they make millions and the underlings spend all their money on fines and their time behind bars
Growing up in an abusive household I feel like stressful situations are second nature to me at this point, not saying I don't take in the full seriousness of a situation but I feel like I cope better than the average person.
I grew up playing rugby, so coupled with my size I feel like I can restrain a potential threat if necessary, also my time at the training centre on my way to joining the PSNI I took many classes on de-escalation and emotion control. I believe I have the necessary skills to calm down a situation before it gets to the point where tazers or lethal force is necessary. Also growing up around my brother I also feel like I have the ability to understand the criminal mindset. Also I spent many hours researching drugs and their affects and how to get off them for my mum growing up so I feel like I can put that information to use helping some of the most vulnerable prisoners who may be coping from addiction inside DOC.

Yes when I first joined the server I was an idiot, I received three NonRP offences and one OOC behaviour offence. I feel I have learned from these massively as my RP has massively improved and I feel like that can be seen by the fact it has been months since. I also have one VDM from two months ago that I am currently disputing with an admin but I feel its necessary to mention. I massively regret all of these logs as I don't think they show the type of Roleplayer I feel I have grown to be but I only have myself to blame
